My kid ended up with a cockroach inside his mouth. He ordered his favorite dessert chocolate mousse, on one of his last bites, he took something out of his mouth which my husband thought it was hairs, i was hoping it was part of the ingredients, after my kid took it out of his mouth due to the sensation of feeling something inside a mousse that its supposed to be fully smooth, he handed it to me i put it on the palm of my hand and after i looked at it closely, it was a freaking 1inch size roach. I was in shock so was my husband since this is a place that me and my Portuguese family has frequent for so many years. We were also disgusted and couldnt believe it. I told the waiter right away and she took everything from the table as fast as she could without allowing me taking a picture of it. She came back ( not the manager or owner) and apologized and said the full meal was in the house and nothing else that she could do. My husband and I were still speechless and in shock. We won't ever return to this place. My kid wanted to cry and I am thinking from now on he will be afraid to eat anything outside especially his favorite chocolate mousse. This is very sad from one of our favorite places for so many years.
