Decided to try this place for the good reviews on the pupusas... disappointed. I ordered the rice flour pupusas to go, when I got home excited to eat them I noticed they were not that great in shape. They’re supposed to be round but these were all uneven. I don’t care much for that so I ate them. I had locoro and cheese and the cheese was not good. For some reason it tasted so sweet so that was a no for me. I tried the mixed one and that one was pretty good, I like the filling a lot. I think I should’ve ordered the corn flour better though. The rice one was very hard, brittle and dry... you would think they’re good because they’re more expensive than the other ones..I’ve had way better pupusas than this, they’re not the best in NJ at all...so wont...
Read moreI am absolutely NEVER disappointed here! Staff are always so polite! I don’t speak much Spanish but they always work with me especially if there isn’t anyone to translate. They are very patient too. But enough about their customer service skills; their food makes me want to order everyday! Their tamales and pupusas are what my fiancé and I originally visited their restaurant for two years ago. But now, we found their chicken soup, shakes, desserts and food platters won over our hearts and taste pallets. I’m sorry I haven’t reviewed before, but after ordering tonight and being so pleased with this take-out order; I felt it was well deserved for a five star review. Will be ordering...
Read moreI found this place thru Google search, and when I got there, the service was good. I can't complain. However, for $21, I could have a better meal somewhere else. The chicken was as if they gave me a slice of chicken. So thin. It was hard to cut with a knife. Second, the beans were quite good, but it could have been much better. The rice was good.
