Terminal One Sports Bar — Restaurant in Elizabeth

As we pulled in the parking lot we where appoached my an older gentleman in his late 60's very scruffy who advised the parking waa 5$ i simply asked id it was ok to pay inside as we were in a really dark parking lot and it didnt seen ligit. As the parking attendant i guess followed us and called us all types of Black cheap B**s we approached security and he screams to him we didnt want to pay. I advised that we just simply wanted to pay in a safe place and not a dark parking lot. The security was just as rude and even lied and said he was the owner. When the man who was suppose to be the owner addressed us outside he was also rude and advised we should pay we told him no problem he then continued to say how we should have payed him. Lets keep in mind this is not in the safest of neighborhood. At the end we choose to leave as they were totally disgusting attitude wise like paying at the door was illegal. Im sure its not a tax write off which would explain the aggressiveness. Never would i eat here. Oh as i walked in the security pushed me purposely into the bar and never apologized. Horrible service. Posted video of there actions. The security even advised the so called owner that he could call the cops because we were wrong and the owner declined because we did nothing wrong. Please see video also on yelp! Horrible dave your money! Very Hood service security had maybe a 7th grade education but wanted to tell us how to speak. Not never did we cause a seen. Bummed. I thought I ordered a steak sandwich and fries. I thought I ordered medium rare. I don’t think they understood what I was saying. They asked if I wanted cheese I said, whatever the chef suggests. I got a steak sandwich with Kraft American cheese (why didn’t I ask for provolone) and chips. Looked like flattened skirt steak low grade. Tasted like it’d be microwaved: There was no sauce on the sandwich. When one bartender put it down he asked if I wanted mayo and named other sauces. I hadn’t even tried the sandwich to know it was simply meat on top of bread with lettuce and tomato as well as cheese from my childhood nightmares. So I said it didn’t need any.

The chips were good but the sand which I stripped down to just steak on top of the non toasted baguette was gross. Just me and one other customer. 3 bartenders. Paid too much and couldn’t finish. Nor could I even ask for a to go box. I walked here and really enjoyed wanted something good to eat. I’m not saying everything is bad it’s the only time I’ve tried something here. Staff was nice just wish they would’ve asked if I liked it so we could’ve tried to order something else instead of paying too much for something that was cooked with no heart or imagination.

This is a regular place for me when my Aunt's in town, I went against my better judgment and tired something different this time. Which never works well idk why I even try, but I like to try new things so I did. We shared the appetizer stampler and shared it and it came out fast and it wasn't bad at all. I then ordered the short ribs (remember this is my first time trying something, I order the samething) and they looked amazing coming out. But ended up being all fat I told the waitress about it she then tells the owner and no action was taken. I wasn't offered anything else nor replacement meat. This is my first time ever experiencing anything like this at this place. My Aunt never wants to make an issue of things so we just paid for food I never got to enjoy. The waitress told me I should speak with the owner and we decided not to from the body language he showed when she told him about this issue.
