On April 11th on our way home my son in law ordered pizzas for pickup, we were 30 minutes away at the time of the order, arrived, parked, and waited for for 20 minutes, noticing 2-3 employees running in and out of the store with their PPE gloves on and certain that they weren't changing them each time. A female employee running in and out of the store insisted that we move our car to the other side of the store. My son in law told her that one of the male employees had told us that our pizzas would be right out, so why move the car somewhere else. She still insisted. We moved to the other side of the building near the church and sit 10 minutes more. Still seeing 2-3 employees running in and out of the store, touching the cars when they talk to people, touching their faces and body, and returning inside the store to touch many surfaces in there. While those persons may not be making the actual food, they are definitely contaminating more surfaces than they could be keeping clean with their improper use of the gloves. It's very likely that the food prep workers are coming in contact with the contaminants being brought in by them. While they currently don't allow customers inside the store to keep it a clean, safe, healthy, working environment for everyone, they're not really ensuring that with the improper use of PPE. After calling ahead 30 minutes and waiting on site for 30 minutes more, we then asked if what was going on with our pizzas since the male employee told us it would be right out. The only female employee that we had seen checked by opening the door, yelling inside, and coming back, and told us that it would be 20 minutes more. He told her then to keep them since it had been a hour already. Just pay attention to what is going...
Read moreSince when is everyone entitled a tip for doing their job? I am a strong believer that a tip is earned and unsolicited. Do you tip the Amazon driver or mailman? Do you walmart tips the delivery driver that brings in all their products? Do gas stations run out and tip the driver that delivers their gas? So why just because you delivered a pizza do you feel entitled to a tip? To actually have the nerve to ask me for a tip and then to mumble something to your friend hanging out in your car while you are suppose to be doing a job is even worse. To me that is worse than the people that stand on the street corner pandering for change. I don't feel that it looks good for the company that I just chose to spend my money to support. If as a company that can't or won't pay their employees, their representatives, enough of a salary that they have to beg customers, I won't be supporting that business any longer. Tip 1 don't beg for tips. Do a good job, go above and beyond and hope that someone feels what you did was worth a tip. Tip 2 go to your boss and ask for a raise if you feel you deserve more money. As for Domino's well you lost a customer tonight because of the way your business is being run. You talk of contactless delivery but your employees are so desperate for money that they are begging for tips just for doing their job! That doesn't sit well with me and i won't support a business with that kind of a business model plan. Maybe you should think of taking that delivery fee that you charge and give it to your delivery drivers so they don't feel cheated out of a tip. That would be a win...
Read moreThe Domino's Store at 603 N Miles St, Elizabethtown, KY 42701 is in desperate need of some leadership. Absolutely terrible experience on Sunday, September 19, 2021. Ordered my pizza at 11:36 am. Pulled in at 11:52, a couple minutes later the Domino's Tracker said my pizza was ready. After about 15 minutes of waiting in my car after checking in to say that I was there I walked around to the door to see if I could just get the pizza. A girl came out so I asked her and she responded today's my first day, just call the store. Called 3 times, no answer. Waited in my car another 10 minutes, still no one came out, keep in mind there is now several cars waiting in the parking lot. I again go around to the door, knock on the door and the guy says to me they messed up my pizza and it will be out in 3 minutes. I go back to my car, 10 more minutes still no pizza. At this point I'm losing my cool, especially since the delivery driver I saw leave is back from his pizza run. I walk up to him, can you please check on my order. He opens the door to the store and says to me there are no orders ready. I told them to cancel my order and I left, they didn't bother to not charge my card though so now I've got to deal with that. I waited an hour for an order that said 14-24 minutes and never even got what I ordered, really unbelievable! Needless to say but I will never, and I mean it, never order Domino's again! They...
