McDonald's — Restaurant in Elizabethtown

On a long drive from Cincinnati to Hodgenville Kentucky to visit my daughter I stopped at the McDonald's. Upon walking in the door the general manager greeted me, assisted me in placing my order on the kiosk, took my money to pay for my meal as I proceeded to the restroom. Upon leaving the restroom I went to the counter to get my food. where I was in the restroom a little longer than I expected, checking my sugar, my fries had gotten cold. The GM, Tierra, that had taken my order went and got me fresh fries. At that time I also ordered an apple pie, my sugar was low, the GM Tierra, gave me my pie and my tray of food. I went and sat down, not even 5 minutes later Tierra, came to check on me to make sure I was okay. That is the best, most friendly, most helpful McDonald's I have ever been to. On my 45 years on this Earth I have never been greeted , taking care of , and felt as if I was family at any fast food restaurants. Even sit down restaurants at that. This McDonald's especially Tierra and the crew that works with her should be applauded for such great service. If all employees at fast food restaurants treated their customers as Tiara did I would be a much more likely to return to their restaurant. Job well done job well...

I don't know if the app shares this, but I had to put in this review from October of '23. The family went on a road trip and needed a quick breakfast to get us on the road and stopped at this Mc D's. Wow does not even cover it. Our normal expectations for fast food is kinda/maybe hot, it's something to just get us by, because that's what we normally get. This location blew our socks off. Piping hot, fresh, great texture, not overly greasy, fast, and courteous. I used to manage at a fast food restaurant and this team would have been a blessing during an inspection. It's like they were making food for one of their commercials instead of being a real location. I know I sound like I'm rambling but I am still blown away and remember this Mc D's months later and was so happy to have found the receipt under the front seat when doing spring cleaning so I could give this review. Absolutely fantastic, this location needs raises to reflect how great it is. They seriously need to come to West Michigan to teach them how to do it correctly. 100 out of 10 recommend this location and wish...

Went there around 1 am after kids football game Lobby closed and I was only car in drive thru. Heard worker laughing and he told me to hang on. 25 minutes later he finally came back on. Still laughing Told me taking cash only. I pulled around to window and I asked what was so funny and told him I wasnt in the mood for his unprofessionslism and said I just needed him to take my order. He stopped laughing. Then he backed up and said ," no, I'm not going to take your order. You need to leave. " and closed the window!!!! My kids were like what the heck. I cant believe the manager would allow their crew to act like that and tell people to leave. Then went back a couple weeks later around 10. After another game. And boys went in this time. Ordered on the screen in lobby since no one at counter. Finally wife went in about 30 minutes later to see why so long. She asked if anyone was on counter and the same guy from the 1 am show was taking a break at same time as another employee .
