Parlor Doughnuts — Restaurant in Elk Grove Township

Absolutely epic place — seriously, this spot has everything you could want in a breakfast stop. The donuts are out of this world — fresh, fluffy, and full of flavor. Each one feels like a little treat that was made with love. And the breakfast sandwiches? So good! Perfectly cooked eggs, melty cheese, quality meats — just the kind of hearty, satisfying food you want to start your day with.

The coffee was also excellent. Smooth, strong, and not bitter at all — you can tell they take it seriously. And the overall atmosphere? Super welcoming. It has that cool, laid-back neighborhood feel with a modern touch — the kind of place you want to hang out in, not just grab and go.

The service was fantastic from start to finish. Even though there was a long line when we arrived (which is always a good sign!), it moved fast and the staff handled it all like pros — friendly, upbeat, and totally on top of everything.

Honestly, this is the kind of small, local spot that deserves all the support it can get. It’s way better than the big chains, and you can really feel the care and passion behind it. Highly, highly recommend — whether you're craving a killer donut or just want a great breakfast...

I've tried a lot of great donuts, but I think I've found a new top spot. I'd never been there before but my mom was in the Rolling Meadows area and decided to pick me up a batch of five Parlor doughnuts. Why are there only three in the photo you ask? Not featured in is the blueberry lemon cheesecake, topped with fresh blueberries, which was quickly devoured on arrival, and the maple pecan that I ordered because they mistakenly boxed up a maple bacon for us. Being a vegetarian I couldn't eat it, so my mom quickly took it as her delivery fee —which might have been the plot all along— and she couldn't say enough good things about it.

Also not featured in the was the pesto breakfast sandwich, because that was quickly and indelicately consumed.

Service was great, very friendly, and being first-time customers they made my mom aware of their app for a first order discount. Knowing that this place exists is a problem, in the sense that there are two places it's dangerous for me to roam: a library, and apparently a Parlor. Great job team. I will be back in person, and I will be paying it forward a dozen donuts because I firmly believe that everybody...

Parlor Doughnuts, around twenty minutes away from me, I came with a friend the other day at 11:30am, and was greeted with a full pastry case of doughnuts, all flavors in stock.

The interior of the store is stunning and cozy, the layout is perfect and there’s a wall with different Parlor Doughnuts merchandise, that of which were surprisingly fashionable. Another thing that surprised me was the miniature menus they had, they were so appealing to look at and honestly really cute. Props to whoever designed them.

We were greeted by an employee that I didn’t catch the name of, though she had a nice accent and was very kind!

My first donut was the French Toast variation, and it was delightfully crunchy on the outside and soft and pillowy on the inside. The flavor was akin to that of French Toast and may be my top favorite flavor of the dozen I got.

I highly recommend visiting if you’re a donut lover, despite having multiple locations the quality appears to be at the upmost quality, something that I can’t say about many other places. If you have never had “layered” donuts then this will be the perfect...
