Delicious place. Dad's new favorite! Friendly service. Spanish and English speaking friendly! My favorite are the tortas. The double cheeseburger is really good too! They give you free chips and salsa while you wait if you're dining in. The horchata is super good. The place itself is tucked away almost under the Prairie St overpass! Very authentic Mexican.

My father, who was born in Mexico (distrito federal) was eating chilaquiles con huevo and rice and beans, and he was reminded of his childhood in el cerro de Mexico in the 80s. Authentic as it gets. My torta de jamón (ham torta) was delicious. Was tempted to order another one if I wasn't so full, the portions are pretty good sized! The waiter had good vibes too. Ordered to go through door dash. 2 items were missing, one being my husband's meal. I called and the girl working said she tried to get the driver before he left and couldn't. She also stated she talked to the owner and I could get a refund as I couldn't go get the food. I stopped in today, the owner said no refund, only replace the food. This is at 2:00 and my son won't be home until after 5. No Thanks, can't reward cheese fries. I won't ever order from them again. To many other Mexican restaurants in the area to get screwed...

Was my go-to place for steak tacos, especially on Tuesday (Taco Tuesday). Usually would recommend this place. But this particular day, I ordered over the phone, confirmed my order at pickup, got home and the order was completely different than what I ordered.
