Wawa — Restaurant in Elkton

Employees are awesome, but there's too many people panhandling EVERYDAY, Watching every customer as they pull in and get out their cars, plotting on them so they can beg for money for drugs or watching to see if they leave their cars unlocked to steal. A few weeks ago there was a older guy pacing around the parking lot, I got a coffee, I forgot something I meant to buy so I put my coffee down on top of my car jus real quick so I could run in. The guy seen me put it down. He was WATCHING every customer, smh I came out and my coffee I jus bought and put my lips on was GONE, I looked around I had a idea who toOK it. I seen the guy who was loitering in the parking lot walking off fast towards rt 40 with MY coffee!! I went and followed him. As he sat down on the side of the rd, And I told him I seen him watching everyone and I took my coffee back, and he didn't look very clean and skinny on drugs I'm sure, I didn't want the coffee now, I poured it out in front of him, it's the point trying to make. That wawa is near a clinic and there's so so many people in that area homeless and on drugs, always stealing and begging for money. Until wawa actually stops letting these people hang out EVERYDAY, especially in the mornings it's not the best place to run in real quick and feel safe to leave wallets or purses in cars and doors unlocked. If your stuff isn't literally tied down, it will be gone by the time u get out the store. You may not realize it but your being WATCHED, your every move, seeing what u leave in the car and if u leave it unlocked. The only time wawa does anything about these people loitering and soliciting, is if u gotta go in and complain, customers shouldn't have to worry about being hassled for money or have their cars broke into. It's as bad as it gets in the am there. Keep the eyes in the back of your head open. And people need to stop feeling sorry for these people all your doing is paying for them to kill themselves withe drugs. If people didn't fall for their fake stories to get money, they would stop panhandling, and make u think they need help. There's no excuse for not working or wanting to fix yourself the people begging are the ones who don't need help, they want drugs, real homeless don't ask for anything!!!...

This is the most poorly run operation I've encountered in awhile. They're out of everything all the time, the wait times for food defy logic & reason, & this a food delivery driver's nightmare. IF they have the food a customer ordered, there's 1 person fixing the food & 3 ppl staring into space; forget anyone putting the orders together unless & until you get mad & start leaning on them & no one can tell up from down. I can't count how many times an order has sat somewhere when I there to get it & they had no clue it was ready. I stopped coming here for my personal uses & only come...

Wawa is always good. Love their coffee. Their smoothies are great. So many different flavors from fruits, cappuccinos, and lemonades. Their food selections are also great. They have pre-made wraps and salads... And their make to order items are great. Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner. From breakfast burritos & bowls, to subs & club sandwiches & soups & paninis, to burgers & burritos & the new pizza... Food choices can't be beat. And of course all the extras of a convenience store from snacks, health items, and tobacco. And don't forget a soft pretzel on your way...
