I visited this tropical smoothie yesterday morning and I was very disappointed with the service. I was happy because my family and I were greeted as we walked in, but when we were ready to place our order the young woman wearing a blue/purple jacket was standing at the register with her back turned to us talking to another employee who was wearing glasses. They were standing there chatting for a good two-three mins until a third employee, with red hair, who must have noticed what was going on from the back, had to come out and tell her to take our order. Then on top of that our smoothies weren’t even good, they were very watered down, barely any flavor. Read moreUnfortunately, twice I’ve placed an order here in the last two weeks and when we’ve gone to pick it up, the people have said they knew nothing about it. The first time, the site would not allow me to pay online but said the smoothie would be ready at a specific time. I assumed Tropical Smoothie was handling things in a different way. The second time, I ordered online and paid online. My husband ran up on his lunch hour. The women said they had no idea about the order even though there was a number and name associated with it. They implicated we ordered from the wrong location (6.5 miles away.) However, they finally checked some app and found it. Read moreWe ordered 3 smoothies via Uber Eats. They gave our delivery man a sandwich and even after the delivery driver requested they verify the order, they stated it was correct. When we contacted the establishment the employee said she had to check with her manager and that she would call us back. After fifteen minutes standing chatting with our uber driver (who offered to go back and pick it up) we called back and were told we had to use the uber eats app, request a refund, and then re-order.
So bottom line is they messed up, would not take responsibility and fix the order, and then blew us off without even the decency to call us back. Solid business model. Apparently not the first issue our driver has had with this place giving him the wrong order. Order at...
