Luna Cat Collective — Restaurant in Ellicott City

My girlfriend and I went here a few days ago and spent 90 minutes with the cats. They’re super cute, friendly, lazy, and playful! Afterwards we spent some time in the main lobby area just hanging out and trying some of the delicious bakery items. The staff were extremely friendly and helped us learn all the cat’s names and their personality quirks! If you want, the employees will also take photos of you spending time with the cats with a Polaroid camera and then provide you with the photos for free afterwards. They also have stickers, art, stuffed animals, and other things for sale that is all done by local artists. On top of everything, the overall design and ambience inside the building is fantastic! Went during opening day and had a great time! It's got a chill vibe, with calming colors, nice cat lounge area, and a nice co-working space. We had the 45 min cat pass which included 45 min in the cat area and free DIY coffee/tea and slippers or socks to wear into the cat area. The cat area has a nice reading nook with a solid selection of fiction and manga, some tables, and lots of enrichment areas for the cats to play and relax in. It felt like stepping into a friend's house, which was nice. The co-working space has some pastries and soft drinks for sale, and free DIY coffee or tea. Lots of outlets, lots of work space, and a calming environment to get work done. There's also a small shop area featuring work from local artists. I'm looking forward to going back and maybe taking advantage of a longer pass so I can really slow down and enjoy my time...

I went on opening day and had a great time! Got to meet so many adoptable cats with a wide range of personalities. Some cats wanted to play, while others were lapcats and just wanted to cuddle. If you're looking to adopt (or just really love cats), I'd get a longer pass so you can meet as many of them as possible!
