I took my family here to try out the new restaraunt. At 23$ for adults and 16$ for kids, not including drinks is a steep ask. In terms of the food it was ok. It may have been different if we were there when the food was out fresh, but it was aparent that it had been a while since fresh trays came out. The food selection was more akin to a chinese buffet with 2-3 indian dishes more than nessessary american options, not really what I look for in an eastern buffet restaraunt. A few of the avaliable options were a bit salty and spicy compared to your usual Chinese buffet, but I'm assuming that's where the "fusion" part comes in. The table service was very friendly, but we were never offered refills on our drinks. A couple was standing at the front waiting to be seated while two of the staff were talking in the kitchen ended up walking out. It was also ironic that they were talking about Sundays being slow. The most concerning part was that my wife mentioned a fruit fly was around the desert bar, while I was unable to confirm, but there was a fly bothering me at our table. I hope the owners iron out these few issues because Ellsworth needs something other than more...
Read moreMy daughter and I went here on a Tuesday night for a dinner date. The food was perfect, as was the staff. There was a large variety of delicious options. We stayed away from the American fare because we were in the mood for Asian fusion. The Indian, Thai, and Chinese options did not disappoint. We are mostly vegetarian in our family so it was nice to see that there were options for us. And we also did try some non-vegetarian dishes which were perfect! The sweet and sour chicken was excellent and I loved that it had a kick. The Dal and butter chicken were perfect! And my daughter loved how the mixed veggies were prepared, she ended up eating almost an entire head of cauliflower lol!
The only negatives are about the ambiance. The Fuzion Buffet needs help from an investor to help spruce up the place. It’s clean, organized, and accessible; however it’s dark and a little out of date. I’d hate to see this place fail because of this reason. The food is excellent and good competition for other local restaurants. I really hope they succeed.
We will definitely...
Read moreWhen we heard this place was opening my family was super excited. We finally got a chance to try it out tonight & I’ve never left a restaurant so disappointed in my entire life. Food was dry, bland & inedible. Chicken was grey & all grissly. Rice was burnt to the bottom of the serving pans & dry. Told our waiter immediately that we were extremely disappointed in the quality of the food. The waiter went & got the chef who came to our table in & acted very stand offish as my husband & I were trying to explain why we were so disappointed. We asked for the bill immediately after the chef left our table & we were charged for our entire meal even though we only ate 3-4 bites before notifying the waiter of the issues we had. $99 for food we couldn’t even eat. Honestly so bummed— I had such high hopes for...
