I recently hosted a fairly large gathering at Primos Locos, and despite an initial hiccup, our experience was exceptional. Due to a scheduling mix-up, we arrived an hour early with 15 more people than expected, but the staff handled it with grace and efficiency. They apologized for the misunderstanding, promptly prepared our room, took our drink orders, and started on the food preparation without skipping a beat.
The service was outstanding—everyone was accommodating and genuinely friendly, ensuring our large group felt welcome. Despite the unexpected rush, our meals arrived within 30 minutes, and the quality of the food was superb. The chicken tacos were a standout, striking the perfect balance of flavor and texture, and easily some of the best I've had. As someone particular about rice and beans, I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious they were. And the churros? Simply amazing—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and just the right amount of sweetness.
I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the entire team for their remarkable service and for turning what could have been a chaotic evening into a delightful dining experience. The dedication to customer satisfaction was evident in every interaction, and it’s clear they go above and beyond to accommodate their guests. I'm already looking forward to my next visit, specifically for those irresistible chicken tacos. Thank you again for a...
Read moreVisited last Sunday; Seated promptly; We sat outside on their internal verandah. The servers were attentive and our food arrived relatively quick. We had the fish tacos, zucchini tacos, chicken torta and the chicken enchiladas. Food was OK, the refried beans were dripping with oil. Overall good experience, however I brought it to their attention that they had overcharged a couple of dishes than what was stated on the menus they provided us. The manager came by to explain that the waitress picked up the wrong set of "obsolete" menus which had the lower prices. I thought that he would take the high road and do the right thing = honor the prices showed to us on the menus. However, the waitress came back with the same bill. At that time, I gave up creating a scene for a few dollars. I am used to restaurants accepting their mistake and making the customer happy. So, this last bit didn't leave a good impression on me. Otherwise, I would have given them 4* for OK food and good ambiance. I am surely not going back due to the "I am not going to concede my error and make this right" attitude of...
Read moreI’ll start out by saying the establishment and food are absolutely beautiful. They did a great job with the look of this place and for those worried about viruses, they have plexiglass dividers between tables. The food itself although beautiful was disappointing from someone that knows both authentic Mexican and Mexican fusion very well. The $8 elote was a sad excuse for elote. Completely flavorless and more watery than creamy as real elote should be. Suffice it to say we paid $8 for a $0.50 can of corn made to look pretty with some cheese and garnish. It went in the garbage. The tacos at first were dry and just like the elote, tasteless. However after the waitress brought us more of the sauce, they we fantastic. The cooks should take note of putting an ample amount of sauce on the tacos as some may just write the place off and not come back opposed to asking for sauce and trying to doctor up their food. Also it’s not a good look with the waitstaff all at the front on their cell phones. The margaritas and horchata were excellent and we would definitely come back...
