I went here with my sister two nights ago, and the service from Angelina was outstanding. She was so nice and super helpful giving great recommendations. The food was also delicious. We started with the arancini and a margherita pizza, both excellent. My sister had the chicken Parmesan and I order the clam linguine. Her meal was perfect and she very much enjoyed it. The pasta was very good, unfortunately I did find a rock in it. Angelina, was shocked as well and immediately took it back replacing it with a new one. Sometimes things happen, and I honestly didn’t know if it was normal 🤷‍♀️. Anyway I ate half of my new linguine until I was full. It was delicious, we took our leftovers home excited for lunch the next day. Well today I go to heat up my pasta and low and behold I found another rock. Again I don’t know if this is normal or if I’m being dramatic. Food was great, service was outstanding, I just know not to order the clam linguine. (I have a video of the first pasta too but it only allows me to post photos)

Pazzi Di Pizza is an Italian gift to Elmhurst that serves extraordinary Italian cuisine reminiscent of the very best, exceptional dishes made from my Italian mother, relatives, and the best local mom and pop Italian eateries of the 20th Century. The fresh bread served at the table is absolutely perfect and has the right crisp texture on the outside and the right soft chew on the inside. Katherine and I both agreed the olive oil was some of the finest tasting provided at any restaurant. The fresh Antipasto salad is the best we have ever had outside any family gathering, and the baked clams were extraordinary and right on point with the perfect balance of bread crumbs, garlic, parsley and Parmesan Reggiano cheese. The Cappuccino was balanced and delicious and made with exceptional coffee. Luigi our server was personable, kind, attentive and friendly. This was our third visit to Pazzi Di Pizza, and we cannot wait to return and try and review other entrees.

Food: 3.5 stars Service: 3 stars Atmosphere: 4 stars We had lunch on the hottest day of the year after strolling through the Umbrella exhibitions around Elmhurst. We order a bunch of appetizers, which were excellent and huge servings. We over ordered and left satisfied. The mushrooms were fantastic, lots of cheese, mussels well seasoned, the calamari was good, octopus a little chewy, and the Burrata Prosciutto salad was excellent. Presentation of the salad could use tweaking, making it a bit more delicate. Our server, Francesca, is young and can use coaching, more training. We are boomers and she talked to us as if we were in our 20s. My Aperol cocktail was mediocre, no garnish, and spilled over, which our server did not cleaned up. Overall was an okay experience with room for improvement

Here's a bite sized review for a quick decision: Overview: This is one of the best restaurant experience one can have. Pros: Service, Food Quality, Ambiance, Menu, Customization, Price Cons: Not many pizza choices, no online reservation

For the detail oriented foodies:

Booking experience: Their website does not have online reservation system. We called in and booked. If you're going on a weekend, do not leave this part to your fate - this place gets really packed and you might have to end up waiting a long time.

Ambiance: Relaxed lightings indoors but not overly dark. Tables are spaced out in a comfortable fashion and gives an intimate feeling. Upbeat music playing in the background. Outside is typical during summers, although I remember them having a heated table during winters.

Service: Fantastic. They always have eyes on your table but let you enjoy your food and company by not buzzing around your table or interrupting your experience. Here's an example: one of them noticed a very tiny fruit fly/gnat in my wine while walking by my table and immediately changed it - new wine, new glass. Always on time, always attentive, always friendly, and always quick.

Food: We ordered bruschetta and it is on of our favorite Bruschettas. They are perfectly grilled and their toppings have a beautiful herby taste. Definitely recommend. Next up were two woodfired pizzas which were perfectly grilled with the right amount of cheese and sauce, topped with a few leaves of fresh basil. A simple combination but so delicious - their bread is very well in proportion to the amount of toppings they put, making it easier for you to digest, and have more guilt-free slices because of less calories. One issue for me here was the many of their pizzas are not too different from each other except adding or removing a herb or one topping.

Dessert: Loved their homemade canoli and tiramisu is bomb. The size of that tiramisu is enough for two people but you will order one to-go. It's fresh, soft and not frozen but perfectly thawed for your taste.

Endnote: This place gets really packed during weekends so try going there on a weekday if you want to enjoy some quiet time and good food without compromising on their service and quality. An introvert like me would really appreciate an online reservation system. Nevertheless, I'm going back and this has become my...

So, after a very long memorial service we attended for my husbands uncle...they had ran out of food that was bought as the church was more than capacity. We were looking for a plce that was local but were not too familiar with the area so we jumped on the expressway and I remembered Pazzi de pizza was open. We wanted a good meal not fast food. I saw they were open until 11pm and still I decided to call to make sure it was okay to come in and i was told it was okay. We got there exactly 9:50pm and the hostess did not even greet us...she said hold on a minute I have to see if we have availability (and mind you the restaurant was pretty empty) She came back with another hostess and said im sorry but we can only serve you pizza or paninis...kitchen is closed. I told them we had called ahead of time plus the restaurant did not close until 11. Still they said we are closing because we were slow. I was already irritayed because i did call before hand and we had my 9 year old son who was very hungry and thinking about him i said okay i guess pizza it is. We were seated and the waitress (who I was told was also bartending) was very rude and pusy about getting the order in. They did not even have any co sideration or think about why we were in there at that time. I am very disappointed and will never return here. I have worked in restaurants before and would have NEVER treated a customer in such a poor manner. The pizza was not even made well.. like they rushed it. Very rude!!! Hope management either makes some changes or they find...

We hosted a wedding shower at Pazzi Di Pizza this past Sunday and I was completely blown away. I am super particular about decor and I was concerned I wouldn't have time to set everything up the way I had planned but upon arrival we were met with staff members rushing to our cars to help bring things in and items that we'd dropped off were already pretty much completely set up for us. Enza was amazing. Her attention to detail was incredible. Without her help, table settings would have taken me forever. Marco understood everything we needed from beginning to end, he knew exactly how to help us get the exact finishing touches we needed and even though he hadn't seen it until that day, it was like he knew the concept of the theme the whole time we were planning it. The staff was incredible, they were so fast getting food out, accommodating and pleasant. The food was absolutely amazing. Before I was even able to process that the party was over, they were already carefully packaging everything away for us. We didn't have to do anything!! I could not place a higher recommendation on a beautiful space for an event or even just a dinner. I can't wait to go back for dinner myself. So much gratitude and appreciation to you Marco and your entire staff for helping us pull off a truly...
