I can not speak high enough about the great time my mom, mom-in-law & sister had at DIT - the owners, Adrian & Esmerelda, were wonderful from start to finish. They stayed open late to accommodate our 'ladies-night' sign-making. They were very hands-on & helpful in every step of the process- from distressing the wood, to staining, then stenciling & painting it. They played fun music & you can buy wine & bring food in. It was perfect! And my daughters love the necklaces they made at the Elmhurst Art in the Park event, where DIT had a table set up for kids to make their own little wood-necklace charm craft...

My fiancé and I wanted to do something special to celebrate our anniversary but with the pandemic it was hard to find something Covid friendly. The workshop was extremely clean and we felt very safe. Prior to the workshop, Esmeralda was very helpful and quick to respond when I had questions about customizing our project. We’re not very crafty but the whole process was a lot of fun and they made it so easy to follow. The quality of the their materials is exceptional and made our project look professional. What I love about DIT is the uniqueness of every class or product you choose. Esmeralda and Adrian are quick to offer suggestions or you can send them an idea of what you have in mind. I’ve made so many things with them ( just to name a few ..wall hanging bottle opener, signs/boards, coffee pour over). Most importantly my favorite piece was a custom reception stand for my lash and brow business. I needed something small, on wheels, and moveable for my business and they exceeded my expectations. Will definitely be making more stuff...
