I try to not leave negative reviews but this one is severely earned. My fiancé and I booked our rehearsal dinner at Pints back in April. We put down a significant deposit and were told we were all set. I called today to confirm everything only to be told there’s no record of our booking and someone else has booked the place. I spoke to the manager and he did nothing to try and correct this enormous mistake. An apology does not cut it in this situation. He offered a completely different place for me to try which isn’t actually helpful. If I had wanted a different place I would have booked one in the first place. I strongly believe that our reservation was made first and the correct course of action would have been to confirm that and ensure that our booking got priority. It would be easy to do this based on when deposits were put down. This did not seem to be an option which is outrageous. This is the opposite of good customer service. To not even attempt to make it right after taking our money and not offering any real solutions is unacceptable. Planning a wedding is challenging enough but the incompetence I’ve experienced in dealing with Pints has been unparalleled. Was there on a Monday afternoon with about 10 of us, we were having a good time with a decent tab when rudely our server came up to us and told us “all of you need to watch your mouth and stop swearing, there are kids here do you understand ? Okay? Okay” and walked away. I have been in the service industry for 10 years and I have never spoken to my customers in such a rude and demeaning way. I understand yes we should have watched our mouth with children in close proximity but at the same time I feel her telling us could have been told in a more understanding and caring way, or have a manager talk to us. we quickly decided to close our tab and leave, while leaving our server came up to us and asked us why we left the tip we left, after just yelling at us. We explained why and she told us it was not acceptable and need to pay more. I felt that was yet again extremely rude, tips are complimentary but not required and based off of personal experience and preference. A couple of friends and I sat at one of the tables next to the bar, after about 20 minutes of waiting one of the waitresses approached us to ask if we wanted anything to drink, 10 minutes later we got outer beers. We decided to order some food, which didn't take long to be served (that was great), after getting our food nobody approached us to ask if everything was ok or if we needed something, we had no silverware, no ketchup (this is a bar, we got bar food, we needed ketchup) and none of the staff members cared to check on us. The bar wasn't too crowded for us to be neglected the way we did which is a shame because the food was great and I would like to come back and eat here again but after the bad service we got we won't be coming back again.
