Hmmmm...where to begin. Made a call this evening to place an order for pickup. I couldn't make out the female's name when she answered and said her name because she spoke quietly and mumbled. When she was challenged to answer the questions I asked she called someone else to the phone (Joy - the mgr.) who answered questions flawlessly and took the order like a true professional. Upon arriving 20 mins later to pickup the order the person who asked my name for the order mumbled her question and I immediately knew it was the same person who answered the phone. I repeated my name for the order and followed up with asking her name so I could address her by her name and she responded by mumbling 'I don't tell customer's my name' and only understood her response by asking her what she said. Next....probably rude on my part but I said 'you probably shouldn't be in customer service'. Normally I would leave a gratuity but that interaction certainly soured that possibility. Upon getting home and opening the pizza boxes the thin crust pizza had badly burnt crust that wasn't edible and the salad had a few chunks of lettuce that were pretty brown and not very appealing. I had to let mgmt know and once again was able to speak to Joy who was very pleasant once again and handled the issue like she handled taking the order...perfectly. I've patronized Romeo's for years and have always enjoyed their food and customer service but the young lady at the counter with zero customer service ability is not helping...
Read moreI recently purchased 2 of their newish stuffed crust pizzas and they came without the two sides of dipping sauce. They forgot my sauce!
I called them up and calmly explained the situation. I explained to them that right on their website it says, "served with a Capone sauce". The kid answering the phone had no idea what I was talking about and gave the phone to the manager. I again explained the situation and he also had no idea what I was talking about. He kept trying to tell me that I was wrong, but after multiple "look at your own websites" he finally sent a kid to give me my two sauces.
The delivery boy came 40 minutes later and I tried to show him the website and he was very dismissive saying, "No we didn't realize it was a thing." and quickly left.
No apology from the driver or the manager. If it wasnt clear, the customer service was terrible. The pizza...
Read moreMy family always orders the same thing every time, two pizzas and two sauce sides. It always comes fresh and delicious. The only problem is they tend to get confused whenever the order is slightly changed.
We asked to have our sauce sides changed for something else because their marinara sauce on the side tastes like they add tobasco sauce to it. It tastes watered down and too spicy compared to what normal marinara tastes like.
For some reason they didn't understand and instead of changing our side sauces, they changed the sauces on our pizzas. We are still giving them 4 stars though because even known they often get our order wrong somehow due to I guess miscommunication, they still replace our order and are pretty understanding about it.
