Uncle Al's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Elyria

I posted the below review 7 years ago and I meant it but now I’ve moved back to Elyria and I’ve given them 3 chances. The Gyro fold over comes with tzatziki unless you order something else. the first time they didn’t send it so i went up there and picked it up, they said give us a call next time your order and we’ll make sure it’s included. the next time i ordered i ordered directly through them by calling. still didn’t get the sauce and still had onions on my fold over (which i asked to be removed) ordered one last time last night for delivery, and called them immediately after ordering to ask for no onions and to add the sauce that should come with a gyro fold over to my gyro fold over (even the description says “comes with greek sauce”) and i messaged my dasher and asked them to please make sure my sauce was included. STILL NO SAUCE AND STILL ONIONS ON MY FOLDOVER. i will not be ordering again honestly even though this is the best pizza in Elyria it’s far too overpriced to have to leave my house after getting it to get sauce because they refused to include what should come with. I wish my review below was still accurate.

7years ago: Live right down the road and their pizza is incredible. I dont normally like cheesy bread but theirs is the bomb. And the cheesecake pizzas, I can't even describe. So good. And so much food for the price. Hate going...

I heard yesterday that Uncle Al’s was under new management, so I decided I would try it again to see if it was different. One good thing I should note is that this Uncle Al’s offers it’s own delivery service, along with door dash, where as the old Uncle Al’s forced customers to use door dash ONLY if they desired delivery. I got a family sized pizza with banana peppers and pepperoni, a large cheesy bread, and an order of boneless buffalo wings. Everything was good with no complaints. The price was reasonable and the size of the pizzas was quite large. If you like your pizza to be cheesy, you will certainly not be disappointed. The default amount of cheese here is equal to what you might get if you ordered extra cheese at some other pizza parlors. Lastly, they seemed to be a little busy when I picked my order up, but the order was ready in about 20 minutes from when I called. It was nice that I didn’t have to...

My mother and I ordered a pizza and wings.

The pizza was good.

However the wings were way too crispy. So we asked them to send a new order. The did not have enough to give us 24 as we had order but agreed to send 12 and credit her for 12.

The next batch showed up and they too we're no eatable.

So we sent them back requesting another credit.

The owner proceeded to call my mother and yell at her, saying how we just cost him 45 bucks. He offered her the mkmon back and requested that we not do business there anymore.

I don't believe in the customer is always right but with having eaten their wings many times she knew what they were supposed to be like.

For him to call her and yell at her was completely out of line.

He will get his wish, we will not be doing business...
