ive never had mushroom-based coffee and cafe buenos aires made my first experience that much more special bc of so! the shop itself is so intimate and staff were really sweet and attentive to my visit! my favorite empanada would be the mushroom one! during my visit i ordered/tried the chorizo empanada, beef empanada, mushroom empanada, along with mini beignet chocolate trio (White, Dark, Hazelnut) and for my coffee i got the chagaccino!
which at first i was hesitant to try bc i heard mushroom based coffee?? but the taste was actually did not have any mushroom flavors and the mixture of the drink itself made the drink itself taste delicious so 10/10 would recommend for yall to try it out!
for the beignet they were good but i think i would prefer other fillings -however if youre a fan of chocolate then yall would really appreciate this trio
loved how relax and intimate the whole visit felt. theres a small indoor seating along with various outdoor seating spots nearby!
tips: street parking available lots of food and menu...
Read moreNormally, when I come to this establishment to dine in, the food is amazing when the manager/owner is handling my order I frequent this place due to working In the area, but today, my experience was particularly bad with a employee as first the instructions weren’t followed with my drink. I said no ice. He put a ton of ice in here then wiped my cup with the same rag. He was wiping the counters with in Secondly, I was given a bag that was full of grease like seeping through the bag which then got on my shoes which are now stain not only is he violating food and safety codes. This is just extremely ridiculous to hand someone a bag full of grease picture below again normally this place is a five star awesome establishment to come to the this experience was just beyond bad. Hopefully the owner talks to him or the manager that’s normally here and corrects...
Read moreI recently discovered how much I love Empanadas within the last few years, so I was really stoked when they opened this location. They used to partner with another bakery next-door to the Y in downtown Oakland, so it was really nice to see this spot close by. The chicken empanadas are always my go to, but the Fugazzeta (cheese and onion ) has grown to be my favorite item on the menu! the staff are very friendly and help you figure out what’s for you if you’ve never been or are undecided on what to get. ( and if you have a sweet tooth, they tend to have Alfajores & sweet Empanadas sale as well! )Only downside is that there isn’t much indoor seating which could be a problem if it’s colder out, but this is minor in my opinion. Definitely worth trying if you want some good authentic...
