Five Guys — Restaurant in Emeryville

So I love five guys and it's been a while since I last had them so imagine how excited I was to see that they are only a few minutes away from me.

Well I'm not that excited anymore let's begin, I ask for a cheeseburger with light onions & a little cup of cajun fries...

So let's start cheeseburger was really good until it wasn't, I kept tasting something off along with way to many pieces I'm chewing and to my shock it was the onions.

Now I'm still trying to figure out how I got diced and not "Light" onions also the cajun fries were good but a little too much cajun seasoning it was a tad to salty to enjoy plus at almost $20 and no drink by the way...

So I'm torn because I really like five guys but this location I don't know, I may try them again in a few weeks...

Update: so I went back last night since it was national cheeseburger day and yes it was a lot better.

I ordered the original regular size French fries and boyyyyyy did I get hooked up but the only thing that was wrong, the fries were really salty & eventually I couldn't eat them my daughter did though but other than that it was a big improvement and their milkshakes are soooo good i had a chocolate shake and was well worth it.

Came here looking a new burger place since the owner of In N Out decided to talk trash about California. The staff is very friendly and when I told them it was my first time there, they took the time to explain how the menu works. Ordered a cheeseburger and fries. I was glad to see that a regular is a massive amount of fries and a regular burger is a double patty. Unfortunately the burger just wasn't that great. The patty wasn't particularly tasty, but the worst part was the bun. It was doughy and soggy and just disappointing. I don't mind spending 20 bucks on a burger and fries, but as far as Five Guys is concerned, I won't...

This five guys is a five-star experience for sure. You will not meet a harder working and more friendly staff. The food could not be more fresh. I watched as the person managing the French fry section did manual tests on the fries before putting them into the oil. I ordered my fries extra crispy, as always, and they came out perfect. The burger could not have been better. It was fresh, not at all greasy, and cooked to perfection.

I had a few words with the manager before I left, and the guy could not have been more kind and professional.

I only hope the security that patrols this shopping Center keeps the vagrants out of...
