Let me start with saying that this experience had me fearing for my safety.
Ordered 2 separate orders of Carne Asada Tacos. I asked if one taco could be flour. They charge you before giving you a receipt so that you pay first without knowing. They ring each taco up separately. I only ordered to get the 3 Taco deal. If getting one single taco differently means having to pay more for all three, tell me. It was a deceitful charge. Not to mention a “processing fee” so another deceitful charge. Which you find out after. When I asked about it, the woman at the register was shockingly rude. I’ve honestly never seen someone so rude. I’ve just spent $48 here and to be disrespected the way she did when I simply asked about the price. “Do you want it or not!?” She asked five times. I do not write reviews often, but I wrote this before leaving. When I told them that I was posting this review, the woman yelled for the man in the back who both chased me out to me car. The man tried to confront me and was intimidating and aggressive. I simply got in my car, the man wrote down my plate while the woman called the cops. I’m still not understanding how a review justified their desire to fight and then calling the cops? I could never even imagine that buying Tacos would have me fearing for my own safety. I’m still shaking from the whole situation.
I will not touch this place ever again, and would suggest everyone else to choose anything else around. Literally only got takeout. 9 tacos = $48. The aggression and rudeness, the confrontation and yelling, the deceit charges.
Go anywhere else, or just skip your meal. Nothing is ever worth what...

Got some takeout from here with friends. Although it was a large order, everything was correct and complete and packaged sufficiently to travel 5 minutes or so.
I had tried to order three tripa tacos, but unfortunately they don't serve it anymore. Instead, I ordered chorizo tacos... they were simple and good, just meat, onion, cilantro, and corn tortilla as it should be. The chorizo wasn't as spicy as I'd hoped, and tasted distinctly like the Hatfield chorizo I use to make tacos at home. That's not a bad thing, but I usually saute/brown in chili oil to add some heat.
Next I had enchiladas poblanas filled with al pastor pork. These tasted decent overall, and were formed more as quesadillas than enchiladas. The mole was acceptable. The al pastor was unremarkable.
To finish, I split a torta with lengua with a friend. The tongue was extremely tender and the sandwich well-constructed with all the toppings traditional to a torta I'd expect to get in CDMX. I have no complaints about the torta.
The salsas supplied with the meal were good but lacking enough heat.
Overall, it wasn't a bad meal, and certainly preferable to the rampant tex-mex fare in the Lehigh Valley that tries to pass itself off as Mexican. And if the food cost 35%-ish less, I could accept its being good instead of great. Unfortunately, when you're charging $4 for street tacos, $13 for two enchiladas, and $10 for a torta, my grading criteria is simply higher.
I'd still return if I was in the area, but it's not worth to me traveling more than a...
Read moreWe’ve been to Tijuana Tacos several times and usually enjoy it, but this visit during the day was incredibly disappointing due to poor service.
Every time we’ve come before, chips and salsa are brought to the table as a courtesy, just like they were for every other table around us that day. However, when we asked our server for them, she responded, “Would you like it ordered?” as if it wasn’t complimentary and tried to charge us. It was frustrating to feel singled out when it’s always been a standard part of the experience.
On top of that, the service felt careless. Instead of handing each person their food or drinks directly, the server gave them to one person, leaving us to pass everything around. Even when she brought utensils, she just dropped them at the end of the table for us to figure out.
The same thing happened with tortillas—my mom ordered some, and another person at the opposite end of the table had tortillas included with their meal. But instead of giving them out correctly, the server handed them all to one person, and we had to pass them down the table yet again.
This kind of inattentive service made the whole experience frustrating. We’ve had much better service here before, but after this visit, we’re really reconsidering whether...
