McDonald's — Restaurant in Emmett Charter Township

Let me start off with I literally never write reviews or complain. I have never had an issue with this location. Even to the point I passed 2 on my way to this one. I ordered food for myself and both my kids. My oldest had a hair in his sandwich and I had 2 hairs in mine. I called and asked to speak with the manager on duty. She happened to be the one answering the phone. After explaining to her what we found, she asked what the order was so it could be replaced. Which was great!! I the. Told her that wasn’t my reason for calling and that I simply just wanted to let her know. She said “Well that’s impossible because all of our cooks have hairnets”. I then replied with “If that’s the case, that leads me to believe someone is purposefully doing it.” She said “Umm no they aren’t ma’am so have a good day” and hung up on me. I’m sure they have people call all the time saying this just to get free food but those weren’t my intentions, which I made perfectly clear. I’ll gladly wait double maybe even triple the time in line at the one on Capital Avenue...

I think that McDonald's shouldn't force their customers to use the kiosks machines in the lobby. I stopped in there today and I was told you have to put your order in the kiosks and then go up to the register if you are paying with cash or credit card. That is the stupidest thing I have every heard of. It is an extra step for the customer at a fast food restaurant. I for one will only go thru the drive thru from now on. It takes to long to go in to grab and go and most people don't have time to go to the machine and then again go to the counter. I was paying with cash and I had to still wait at the counter for a cashier to come over to take my money. They told me that all Battle Creek McDonald's from now on when you go inside you have to use the kiosks. No more going to...

Unsalted nasty looking fries and slow. I told them they needed to salt their fries, so a teen boy handed me salt. They are to take the saltshaker and make the letter 'M' in the fresh fry bin, then mix it up, unless unsalted is requested. The back cashier put a Orange pop on our order, when we asked for a LG. Frozen Cherry Fanta. Then, they took forever to hand anything out... W/O any straws. Not even filled all the way! I worked at a McDonald's for 2 yrs as a Back Cashier, but got trained throughout the store. I was irritated and disappointed. This is why we rarely go to this store anymore... let alone other 'fastfood' junk places. Only 1 choice in Flurry, cone, or shake. No parfaits. The variety has...
