Let me start out by stating that the food was GOOD. It was the employees that had me asking for a refund. Upon entry there's a small market. I went looking for pineapple juice (which they did not carry) I proceeded to look at what other products they sold. The cashier then comes and asks if I needed help. I politely told her no and explained I was looking for pineapple juice and they did not carry it. She walks over to the juice section to double check as if I may have overlooked it and that was fine but then she seemed to kind of hover around me in a "hurry up and buy" type vibe until she finally got a customer. Went to the restaurant side to place my order and the cashier did not ask if it was to go or dine in so I requested to go. He gets this weird look on his face and turns to another employee and starts to whisper and looks at me out the corner of his eye... WTH is that about?? While I waited, I watched the young lady on fries fill trays for other orders with FULL containers. Why when I retrieved my bag it was half empty? That was when I was through with the establishment and asked for a refund. I refuse to patron where I don't feel welcome. I often take tour groups to these locations. I will now suggest other establishments.

It was good. This is about the 4th or 5th time here. Usually, it is an awesome experience. This time the majority of the staff was great except the lady doing the drive-thru. Granted the place was swamped due to the high school football championship being played at the university. So they were out of at least carbonation, milk to make milkshakes, and ketchup. I know things were not going as planned but that is when you stop being a supervisor(?) and become a leader. The food was great and the ice cream that was substituted was great. A little longer wait time, but again a lot more people than usual. We will try it again the next time we are traveling through the area.

I read further about their vertical integration online because I'm a big nerd, and about their community activism. Overall just really impressed and glad that we tried the place that was not the same chain restaurant that's in every town.

First let me say, my previous experiences have been good since 2016. Placed a drive-thru order for a California everything bagel to try something new for me and biscuits and gravy for my husband. Window person seemed new and trying. He was very polite.

We weren't asked which protein for the bagel. It was a new item for us. Sausage by default (as we discovered upon asking when order was handled to us at window #2, although the corp picture indicates something like ham. We asked if we could get one with bacon. We explained we weren't asked, and if we could, we would like to have bacon. The sandwich was retrieved and the sometime later returned, bagel and wrapper (interior and exterior) a complete mess of avocado/guacamole? Everywhere. At that point, requested a refund.

Would it been too difficult to just make a new sandwich, or at least change the wrappers? It was obvious that the sausage was extracted from the sandwich and bacon added to same sandwich by the mess all over the top of the bagel and the outside of the wrapper. It may have changed, but i was taught after food goes out the window, it can't be reserved. At the very least, trying to clean up the sloppy mess the avocado mixture made, would have helped.

Lady Manager appeared very apologetic (as if she was frightened). Side note, we were being patient, not yelling, just trying to explain so she would understand why a refund.

We appreciate those who work in the food service industry and try to express kindness with every encounter. Tip always. Call in to Management to let them know when we have good+ customer service.

At that point, I lost the desire to try the bagel, or fight all the avocado smear and I did not want my husband to eat cold biscuits and gravy after that; nor having to have a new bagel made lengthening my husband's wait for his breakfast (not offered). Nor did i want a resentment bagel AND have my husband eat cold food. He also did not want to eat alone while we had to figure out a new option for my breakfast. I say this for a bit of insight as how one person can make a difference.

A Lady District Manager of Braums told me & called me out in front of the entire store & said if my black girl hair can not fit in the hat that comes with the work uniform I can no longer work there! now which i understand that don’t get me wrong so I adjust to her authority as that & tried to fit & put the hat on in front of her & the entire store as she’s calling me out but it would not fit as she’s telling me this I was asking my shift supervisor if i could go or take a break because I have not gotten one I have already spoken to my shift supervisor & other head manager about the hat Scenario not fitting me before I stepped foot behind the work floor & discussed an equal agreement I clocked in around today may 7 th 10:00am -10:30am it was 1:00pm when I asked my shift supervisor to go on break & the district manager butted into our conversation judging me discriminating me not knowing me from a can of paint nor approaching or introducing me with proper respect me or professionally tension!! what happened to being kind & caring to one another? & understanding one another from within the work industry & environment Emporia Kansas??? Now I am a 19 yr young black mother without a job & still didn’t receive my break meal simply because “my black girl hair couldn’t fit in the hat” simply because dm’s get paid more than crew members simply because you’re hire up & because you don’t have to wear a hat nor thee manager or shift leads or shift supervisors because you are hire up that you get to just treat me & people wickedly yeah that is not fair or right i understand the policies but where is the compassion & consideration please!!!! do...

I used to love Braum's, but haven't eaten there in a long time. Recently my husband, daughter, and I visited. The food itself isnt bad at all, but the customer service is less than desirable. When we made our order the cashier wouldn't make eye contact and was just all around fairly rude. Figuring it was just a bad day for said person we just ignored it. A few weeks later we decided to revisit. This time we had a different cashier who was again very rude. Number one we walked up to the counter to place our order and he began to take out his card and started placing an order of his own. We waited for him to finish and not once did he look up at us nore did he say he would be with us in a min. Finally he looked up at us to take our order. He (much like the last guy) didn't make eye contact with us and acted generally annoyed at the fact that he had to take our order. When I finally had a chance to place my order I asked if there were any sugar free options for a malt considering I know they have sugar free ice cream and I'm diabetic. The guy paused, typed something into the computer, and then rudly read off the options for what I assumed was sugar free. I picked chocolate. Halfway through the malt I found a handful of peanuts. Good thing I'm not allergic. Low and behold I figured out later on that what he gave me wasn't sugar free and my BS was towards the 300's. I really don't think we...
