Panda Express — Restaurant in Emporia

This Panda Express needs corporate intervention. They are not practicing SERV SAFE protocols on time and temp for holding food. I went through drive through yesterday and ordered the Beijing beef. At first that said it would be 7 mins but they had it ready as soon as i got to window. I told them i had no problem waiting 7 mins. But they just gave me whatever scraps that they had left..this is not my complaint. I ordered it on plain white rice..after i ate most of it while driving, i started noticing that the rice seemed to be a little off in texture and seemed to have what appeared to be sort of slimey as if being left out too long or not being held at proper temperatures from being leftover from their lunch. It was around 530 pm on Tues April 6 when i visited the location. I was surprised to see all of the bad reviews and was going to leave a good review until i woke up this morning really sick. I believe i have been poisoned by Panda Express lack of knowledge or neglectful food practices and i hope that someone in their corporate reads these reviews because i have never had an issue with getting sick from any of the Panda Express until i visited...

I tried this Panda last ight and was not impressed . The time was 6:45PM and there were only five entree's available to pick from and not all of them looked good and looked like they had been there for quite a while. . Having only eaten at a Panda once before I was unsure if this was all that was available and also assumed they were cooking more. I ordered the 3 entrée meal and one of the entree's was the beef. When the young lady started to fill the to go container it was almost completely filled with rice and there was very little room for the entree's. When it was rang up they up charged me for the beef order and when I pointed out that it would have been nice to explain this when I picked it and there were very few other entree's to pick from. The young lady replied in a very disrespectful tone that they charge more for the beef entrée and offered no more explanation for the few items to order from. I nicely told them to keep the food and walked out. I do not make a practice of doing things like this but I was very unhappy with the young ladys tone and demeanor and also unhappy with the available food. I will not stop at this Panda...

Like 5 items on the menu. I tried ordering a dish that has shrimp and steak, i asked if they could take out the steak and replace it with shrimp and i would pay extra if needed and they straight up told me no before i could even finish speaking. Lady was pretty rude. I ask for the same thing before because i dont eat red meat because of my religion and the guy was fine with my request and charged me a little extra witch i was fine with but this lady wouldnt even let me talk she was just saying "no we dont do that sorry". The food was not that great when they did serve me was very bland and cold but i decided to give them another try cause the guy that took my order before was really respectful, but this last visit just confirmed that i will never be returning. And by the looks of how low buisness they get and negative comments people around town have about panda express, i wouldnt be suprised if they closed by the end of year. Worst asian...
