This is a great little spot to stretch your legs and explore. The silo was painted in 1985 after the new Coke Formula marketing campaign failure. And now a simple roadside attraction. It was not created as part of the school or part of coca-cola - but done by a local artist at the time - along with a Coors silo (which is no longer there). It's a funky roadside stop. Don't expect a stand-alone or updated attraction or you might disappointed like other reviewers.

It’s a bit withered away, the paint but it still stands tall with enough color to keep most of the iconic brand logo alive! You can even read the ingredients on the side and the “Original” remark and much else. If you stop in Emporia, you should definitely snap a quick pic here! + Subscribe to Ridin with Dryden on YouTube +

I really hope they aren’t tearing this down. It looks like it might be in the process. PLEASE incorporate it into whatever is being built there. That’s too cool to see it go.

One of the better road side attractions. Nice school parking lot across the street so yo don't have to dodge traffic, nice sidewalk and open field for unobstructed view. Emporia has some quick fast food restaurants within in a 2 minute drive...very convenient for photos, snCk and...
