RibCrib BBQ — Restaurant in Enid

We have visited the Enid Rib Crib several times. Today, we were very disappointed and are not sure we will return.

We came in as a group of three just after 3:00 on Saturday May 29, 2021. There were NO OTHER customers in the restaurant due to the off hour. Our waitress, Billie, made us feel like we were just a nuisance to her. We didn't see her smile a single time with us or the couple next to us (they came about 15 minutes before we left). She cut us off as we were ordering and literally walked away (we were still trying to add to our order). She made us feel bad for asking for a box (it was clearly asking too much) and then put the entire order on one ticket and slapped it down on the table, even though we really all wanted to pay for our meals separately. My aunt just paid for every one so we didn't bother Billie yet again.

The couple next to us asked Billie who the current manager is (perhaps they were also a nuisance?). Billie explained that they currently don't have one (no surprise to us), but they have a new one due in.

Our hope is that this new manager can make some personnel improvements and teach a bit of customer service skills.

I am typically a generous tipper, but in cases like this, I just cannot tip...

10 of our classmates from EHS class of 1976 met at Rib Crib for lunch today. The food was excellent. The service, not so much. Our server, Lilly, brought out the food but several people got theirs very late into the meal. One had a salad and another had a sampler. When it came time to pay, she gathered up all the cash for the checks and brought back change. She messed up my payment. My total was $24.50. I gave her 2 twenties. She came back and said I only gave her 1 twenty. I had $50, 40 for the meal and 10 , for the tip. She kept saying I only gave her 1. I kept saying I gave her 2. Needless to say, I took the $10 off the table and gave it to her to pay for my meal. I don't know if she dropped it or what. No plans to go back there...

Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the St. Louis -style rib dinner and loaded baked potato. Just delicious!!! The loaded baked potato was baked perfectly. That's hard to find in a lot of restaurants. But the STAR OF THE MEAL was the southern bourbon pecan pie and ice cream!!! OMG. It was sooo good 😊 absolutely delicious!! I will definitely come back just to order it. Lol. I was stuck on that dessert!! Lol. My server Kristal did an amazing job. VERY friendly, courteous and attentive!! I give her a 10 🌟 review. 👍 thank you for having such a great employee Rib Crib. And MANY THANKS for making my birthday meal and day an awesome one!!! 😁 I will definitely always be a Rib Crib...
