COULD NOT BELIEVE THAT THIS IS THE SAME LOCATION I ALWAYS VISIT.
I visit this exact location three times a work week for the last year. Today I was by far THE MOST DISRESPECTED & HAD HORRIBLE SERVICE AT THE BAR where I always sit. My partner and I arrived at 3PM to zero service at the bar. No one greeting us. PLEASE CHECK CAMERAS!
All the servers were laughing and having a great time in the kitchen. A big girl with puffy black ponytail hair very tall (caramel skin tone) was laughing the most. She never thought to tell her colleagues they have two waiting at the bar.
Later I finally ask a young lady in a different section to call someone to the bar. She tells me that the lady is in the restroom and she is on her way.
After 30/40mins we decided to move to a booth table next to the bar.
After wait 40 mins!!!! We only stopped for a drink. The bartender manager came around and made our drinks. I had asked for light ice. It came with full ice.
Finally being served…. THREE items that we did order (for starters) it was so horrible we would not order anything else. That’s 2 drinks and 1 half order of skillet Mexican cheese fries. It came out with NO CHEESE.
When we ordered the cheese on the side the server offered to microwave the cheese so it could “be melted”.
Following we asked for an order of ranch….. You do not want to believe what arrived to the table. IT WASN'T RANCH. I don’t even want to know what did arrive. Both managers agree that they KNOW it’s not ranch.
The next BARTENDER who is the main bartender finally cames to make our second drink. I told her NO ice. She had the most rude attitude and was rolling eye facials while I was speaking to the manager on duty and bar manager.
I’m assuming she was the one that was late to services us at the bar. Give and take her street skills. She was also the one to not apologize for being tardy or even offering us a cup of water.
But yet she was the VERY FIRST individual to talk loudly across the bar to me as I was speaking to the mangers.
SHE WAS THE MAIN ONE MISSING IN THE RESTROOM (doing what ever extra curricular activities) freshly high out the bathroom to even attempt to shout back to me.
I told them I’m a regular there and her words were “DON’T COME BACK.”
If this is how you allow your Wednesday team to function.
I guarantee you, this location would not be a open anymore if they worked every day.
I made sure to tell the managers if not about getting anything discounted. I paid for my full check as I was not expecting any discount. I WAS SO DISRESPECTED. I COULD NOT BELIEVE THAT THIS IS THE SAME LOCATION I ALWAYS VISIT.
You will see be back at my location. And if this continues. I will make sure...
Read moreI received a gift card so I decided to use it so my girlfriend and I came to this location on Las Vegas Blvd south. We chose to sit in a booth by the bar as always and the bartender was our server which was a huge mistake since we weren't ordering alcohol she completely ignored us. We finally got service and ordered a bowl of soup each and chicken fajitas to share so we could have room for a chocolate molten. I had the chicken enchilada soup and it was incredibly salty. My girlfriend got the baked potato soup and liked it. They finally brought our fajitas out after what felt like forever and a"boat" with all the toppings. The chicken and vegetables were totally undercooked and everything on the boat looked gross. Since we didn't really have a server I got up after waiting at least 5 minutes and found a server from another section and told him they need to cook my food longer and he took it back to the kitchen. Upon learning of this our server came over to find out what was wrong so I told her the chicken wasn't cooked enough and the veggies were still crunchy and not caramelized at all and the sour cream was watery, there was black stuff on the cheese and the guacamole and pico were dried out. She told us that the boats are made in the morning so it was sitting all day but the manager was making sure the kitchen made us a fresh one. After 20 more minutes they brought out the fajitas again and this time everything was burnt and stuck to the pan. There was literally black burnt chunks in the rice and the onions were charred and completely stuck. At this point we gave up and told the server to just bring the check for the soups. The manager did come over and comp our meal which was just soup so I still have the gift card which will most likely be regifted. The service was awful but not quite as awful as the food. We left and went to Winchell's bar and grill and shared a sandwich and ate homemade warm cobbler with ice cream instead and had great service and food. Chili's has never been this bad and I should have known better because they have changed their menu and happy...
Read moreAs our first meal in Vegas after a long car ride, we were not 100% happy with our service. Even though it was a Friday night, it was not packed, which is why we chose the place. However, it took 15 min before we were even acknowledged to go sit down.
Now our waiter was very friendly and very helpful however he needs a lesson in learning to listen to your customers. I was very clear asking him if he had baked potatoes. He said yes and then brought me potato soup with my dinner. Even though he brought me soup, he never brought me a spoon. So I could have never eaten the soup. When I asked him about it, he apologized and brought me mashed potatoes.
By the time I was almost halfway done with my dinner, I realized I still did not have my alcoholic beverage that I ordered when I ordered everything. Again, he apologized and brought that to me right away.
The cooks made a mistake and brought my food out, and my husband had to wait almost another 10 minutes before his fajitas came out. A good restaurant would not do that they would bring the food out pretty close to each other.
It's not that there is a bunch of huge mistakes, but it was these constant little things. So it was just little things like that made a meal out after a 5 hour drive, not so great.
However, on the opposite end, the food was really good. I got the orange martini, and the thing was unbelievably delicious and huge!
Would I return to this Chili's again? Yes. Only because I think a lot of the mistakes were the server. Could the server be new? Yeah, probably! Every restaurant and every person deserves a second chance.
I do want to add hair that if you are a vegetarian this is not a place for you. Luckily enough I am a pescatarian and they had two or three dishes that were just fish. But I know since I used to be a vegetarian only this place would be hard to find a meal for...
