Stopped there today, figured it would be a standard DQ. Ordered four chicken strip meal deals and a large onion ring. First they said we would have to wait 25 minutes on the white gravy, which would have been okay, then said they had enough for us. White gravy had large chunks of gray scum, unusable but we used ketchup. The onion rings came out, about half cooked right and half dark brown, onion part black and cooked to a cinder. Took them back, they said they were now out of onion rings and that was what they had left. The staff acknowledged that they knew they couldn't be eaten but literally shrugged their shoulder about it. Said thats what they had left so they gave them to me. I call it trying to get money for nothing, terrible service and no morals if they were trying to pass this off as edible food. Got a refund on the rings. Fries on all four orders were brick tough, chewy and tasted bad. Chicken strips had a burnt taste like they were cooked in old grease. Our ice cream, three blizzards and a sunday: the sunday had a bare minimum of hot fudge, I mean a little squiggle just around yhe side, nothing on top, I doubt the fudge would have filled a teaspoon and it was NOT hot. The blizzards, two heath bars and an oreo, were basically cups of plain ice cream with topping blended into the top 3/4 of an inch for looks. This place is a serious black eye to the Dairy Queen name, eaten at them from Wisconsin to Florida, Kansa to the east coast. This was the worst. Apologized to my family as we left for bringing them there, expected so much better. On the plus side, this place made me REALLY appreciate the Dairy Queen in Andalusia Al. They might get an order wrong there once in a while but your food is fresh, TASTES, fresh and you get your...
Read moreI was hungry for chicken and it was about 8:30pm. I was headed to another Chicken restaurant when I saw Dairy Queen. So I haven’t been in a while and decided to give them a try. I ordered the 4 piece chicken basket! I asked for onion rings instead of fries, ranch dip, and a small coke. They told me over the intercom it would be 5 minutes, I said no problem. I paid them $13.00 and some change. Which seemed high to me, but what can you do! Anyway at the window the cashier was very friendly and asked me to please pull over and park and they would bring it out to me. Before I pulled off to park I asked for some salt, and napkins. So I pull over to park and about 5 minutes later they brought my food. She handed me a box with no bag. I pulled off and left. I waited a few minutes to eat because it was hot. I opened the box and found a Hand fulls of ketchup, and salt thrown in on top of my freshly cook meal. Who does that! That was gross to me because there is no telling how many, or whose nasty hands have touch all those packs of ketchup and salt! There was no ranch dip in my box. It was hard to eat after knowing this, but I ate some after I dug out all the stuff from off my food. It was good, but dry because I didn’t have any dip! I kept finding salt under my chicken. Any way! I waited until I got home so I could get some dip, by this time my hot chicken and onion rings were cold. Anyway that was my experience! Please don’t throw dirty ketchup packs on peoples food! Give them a bag and put it in there! If I was not so tired after spending a couple hours in the ER with my mother, I would have taken it back and got my money back and went to the...
Read moreHorrible service the management is so rude ! Me and my friend ordered from the manager I believe his name is Purvis, he rang us up while the other cashier was taking everyone else orders. So after he took my friends order he proceeded to take mine I simply ordered the five buck lunch with chicken fingers and up sized the ice cream to a blizzard and he told me total was 6 dollars. So I gave him my card then we go to sit down my friend goes to get our trays when it's ready and we start to eat and I look at my ticket and then my friends and I realize he charged me for a large onion ring ,when I obviously did not order any onion rings. It says my total was 9 dollars and some change so I check my bank account thinking maybe he just gave me the wrong receipt and nope he purposely overcharged me. So I went up to the counter and he was in the back making food but he saw me standing there and the nice cashier asked me what was wrong so his wife came to the counter and asked me what was wrong and she proceeded to ask the girl if she wrung me up wrong and I said no it wasn't her and then she said " I don't understand what do you want me to do" and then asked me if I was sure I didn't get onion rings like I'm sure because I didn't order them in the first place and I politely said I was charged for something I didn't order and was told my total was the amount it was actually supposed to be finally she gave me my change back for overcharging me for the onion rings but never will I go back to this Dairy...
