German Bread Bakery — Restaurant in Enterprise

This place has a wonderful selection of bread, baked goods, and a large selection of grocery items. We used to visit the one in Summerlin every Saturday and everyone was so nice and friendly. The pastries are delicious, the bread & pretzels are amazing. One time I bought a very hard to find item, blau kraut, from here & loved it. This recent visit was disappointing. Nothing was fresh and it had weird tastes like it was stored in the fridge & picked up other smells/flavors. I have never had this issue before. I bought many items, so it wasn't just that one pastry that was stale/old. It was all of them. Please don't sell the old stuff without identifying it as 3 days old etc. I saw day old items advertised on the bottom shelf, but these tasted more like 3 days old. I don't care about what some dumb food critic has to comment. Their sausages are fantastic, goodbye Whole Foods!! Their deserts are deletable and I have tried them all. Great prices, fresh "made from scratch" taste, polite service, and amazing quality/ingredients. When I buy treats from Trader Joe's I feel compelled to read the label because they always sneak something in, there I know all the indgredients because they follow the exact traditional recipes. No Dextrose, no Maltodextrose, no Fructose Syrup or High Fructose Syrup, No BHT, no Food Colouring, no hydrogenated oils (corn, kernel, soybean, Caster) and you don't have to worry about your food containg Freon or Titanium Dioxide. Just normal sweets made with normal fundamental Ingredients.

FINALLY! A bakery where there is high quality without the inflated prices!!

I LOADED up on 3 different loaves of bread, a WIDE assortment of pastries, and of course some preserves/jams I haven’t found in YEARS (and refuse to pay a certain international online company’s outrageous prices).
