This in-n- out is like every other one in the country in the fact the drive thru always has 12- 20 cars in line. I use to just drive on by thinking ing to myself no place can be worth that sort of wait. Boy was I wrong. I finally stopped in by I parkered and went it. There was decent parking available right by the doors. So I go walking in still really curious to see what the hype was about. I get inside and the place is totally spotless. There is more than ample staff. I walk up to place my order and I'm greeted very politely and it felt genuine. Another customer had told me when I was trying to decide that to get about thisⶠsecret menu online. So I felt a bit mischievous when ordering. I ordered a 3x3 regular. That's 3 patties 3 pieces of cheese lettuce and tomato. I also got a large chocolate shake and a regular fry. I ordered another 3x3 animal style, animal style means extra beef patty is cooked in mustard and comes with extra spread and grilled onions. And I asked for extra toast which is the bun will be left on the grill for an extra minute or two, making it that much crispier and a whole lot yummier. Yes, it's free of charge. You can also get 4x4 which is 4 patties and 4 slices of cheese. Dont like the bun no problem get you burger tomato wrap /Protein Style you can get any burger you want wrapped in two slices of tomato instead of bread. Of course they also do a burger wrapped in lettuce vs bun. An order of fries well done, they are cooked longer than your average fry. I personally didn't like them, might as well got a bag of potatoe chips. You can also order fries light which I think is self explained. You can get animal style fries which is  fries with cheese, spread, and grilled onions. A classique. Roadkill fries are fries with melted cheese and burger patties. Grilled cheese is also a option The ultimate vegetarian item on the menu: Ask for two slices of American cheese, lettuce, tomato, spread, and onions on a bun. Another vegetarian option the wishburger. This sandwich is stuffed only with vegetablesâno meat or cheese. They also have a large choice of beverage. I was impressed how clean the fountain drink area was. In less than 5 minutes my food was ready again they staff were amazing. How they keep those white uniforms so clean is beyond me. The customer service is at a much higher level than any other ' fast food restaurant ' I've been to and well frankly a few sit down restaurant could learn a little something from the staff here. Did I mention the parking out is as spotless as the store? I did notice they had 4 drive thru windows inside all open and all handing out orders. The line for the drive thru was still at least 20 cars long. And not a single car was parked !! So yes all the hype about in n out is true. I would wait in the drive thru or go in again tomorrow. The food was exceptional the staff was above and beyond and the location was convenient. I HIGHLY...
Read moreThe kids from St. Anthony's, St Francis, St. Viator, Bishop Gorman, and a couple from Del Sol and LVA agreed to meet at "In and Out" for a small cast get-together after their final performance of Sound of Music. Although we, as parents, anticipate the 2% likelihood of finding parking at the Eastern and Serene location, we were pleasantly surprised! The kids took over half the dining area while we kept an eye out from the "bar" seating. Side note: If you've been living in an underground bunker for a prolonged period of time and have never been to In & Out, there is no actual bar here... I'd hate for you to visit and become immediately disappointed... Anyway, The service was prompt, not as perky as we normally encountered during previous visits. However, they were nice enough, and the food was accurate. The soda tasted a tad flat and slightly off. This seemed a unanimous opinion once mentioned by several other party members. From what I heard, the pink lemonade was the way to go instead of soda. Now, as I said, we had a bunch of kids/teens with us, and therefore, my eyes may as well be a hawks. I felt uneasy that there was an unfortunate homeless person sitting for a long while inside, as well, obviously deprived of a bathing facility for some time. I caught wiffs of the pungent odor frequently enough, and he seemed to linger. I suppose, without another place to go, I might do the same; however, I doubt that too many other establishments would have allowed the same. It was kind of them, yet it also took away from the kid-friendly aspect of the appeal. Well, they took pics with the paper hats, and the food was decent, not as great as I'd have hoped this time around, but we came in, and I guarantee they felt short-handed dur to the sudden increase of demand! Anyway, the kids had a blast, at least. I'd post the photos if minors were not easily identifiable in those pics. Next time, I'd opt for their drive-thru, long lines, so be it. We had a good...
Read moreIn-N-Out has earned its legendary status, and after countless visits, I completely understand the hype. This California institution serves up some of the best fast-food burgers you'll find anywhere, and they do it with a simplicity and consistency that's genuinely admirable.
The Double-Double is my go-to order, and it never disappoints. The beef patties are always fresh, never frozen, and you can taste the difference immediately. They're juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection on that flat-top grill. The vegetables are crisp and fresh - the lettuce actually crunches, the tomatoes taste like real tomatoes, and the onions add the perfect bite. The toasted buns hold everything together beautifully without getting soggy.
Their famous Animal Style is a must-try. The grilled onions, extra spread, and pickles create this incredible flavor combination that elevates an already great burger. The fries are cut fresh from whole potatoes right in front of you, though I'll admit they're better when ordered "well-done" for extra crispiness.
The prices are shockingly reasonable, especially compared to other burger chains charging twice as much for inferior quality. The staff is consistently friendly and efficient, even during the inevitable rush hours when the drive-thru line wraps around the building.
My only complaint is the wait times during peak hours, but honestly, it's worth every minute. In-N-Out proves that you don't need a complicated menu to be exceptional - just quality ingredients and...
