Wow!! I have driven by this establishment for over 10 years and now I see what I have been missing out on. I googled lamb chop near me as I live down the street from Steiners on Las Vegas Blvd, and they had great reviews. So I went in and got the appetizer that had the two lamb chops which were cooked, medium rare, and crusted in seasoning. They were absolutely delicious with the horseradish sour cream on the side. Two mild sauce, we once again, which are not normally my favorite, but these are meaty and crispy and perfect on the mild sauce. The appetizer also had a tower of beer and onion rings, which stayed crispy as it is my experience that beer battered tend to get soggy quickly, And two chicken strips which were tasty and two potato skins, which added a perfect rounded flavor to this dish. I did see that they have a four lamb chop dish as well as a dinner, but I am glad I tried the appetizer with many different things and will definitely be back to get a plate of just the lamb chops. Kelly was so attentive and fun to talk to you as I went in by myself, she even helped me pack everything up that I had as leftovers. And of course I looked at the dessert menu and wow wow wow, the pecan bourbon chocolate brownie dessert was absolutely to die for!!!! And to top it all off, they had my favorite beer on draft Alaskan Amber. In my experience, it’s been hard to find that here in Vegas on draft. I am so pleased that I stopped today and definitely be back, thank you Kelly for making my lunch, a great experience, she even mentioned that she was there today on her day off and I...
Read moreService was really really good!!! The servers really worked together as a team and that really means allot for an establishment.
However, I was never told about any specials. I couldn't read the illegible writing on the special board when you walk in. My server never mentioned the soup of the day, if I had any questions or if they had a happy hour. I ordered 4 things, the shrimp cocktail, side salad, cup of chili and the chicken piccata.
The shrimp was really good. You can't really mess up a dinner salad and the chili was just nothing special.
I recieved my entree, presentation was very well done, but it had no taste at all. The chicken didn't even have a taste. My server, who never introduced herself, brought me more sauce. It helped slightly but for $17.99 and me squeezing 4 lemons on it, still was not good. The food prices are over priced, aswell. I'm guessing this a burger, wings kind of place. My server did take the chicken piccata off my bill, which was really nice. I didn't even ask for it.
So I confused to give 2 or 3 stars. Im sure the bar food will probably be good. And the serves I had was great. The food was over priced. And my main course tasted like food in a retirement home. I guess I'll give it 3 cause I would go back but only for wings...
Read more"BELCHING BEAVER" was on our receipt, although our server told us her name was Ashley. So, whomever wants to claim the credit...we enjoyed our service and our delicious burgers. We had just arrived from Spokane, Washington, and were making our way to the Grandview. We have visited here in the past and enjoyed it. Steiner's has the feel of a neighborhood bar at home and I think that's what we like about it. We feel comfortable here, the vibe is easy and the selection of beer is extensive. We both ordered a burger with bacon and I ordered onions rings. Normally when you order onion rings as your side, you receive 3 or 4 if that. I basically had a platter of onion rings with a side of a juicy big burger. Needless to say, I requested a to-go box. As a bonus, I pulled up my Entertainment card app and found I had a buy one get one so we got a discount on our meal. Just arrived in Vegas and all ready winners.. 🎰If you are on the south strip, staying at Grandview or Worldmark south, check this place out. It's welcoming and comfortable with good food. Thanks for a great experience...Ashley or Belching Beaver,...
