Porky's Pizzeria‎ — Restaurant in Erie

The pizza here is probably the best in Erie, given it seems to use fresh dough and decent ingredients that all come together to make a pie with a solid taste. The service leaves a lot to be desired, though.

I called in my order given I wanted to pick up and pay with cash (which is not an option on the online portal - can only prepay with credit), and the guy who picked up for some reason sounded like he was standing five thousand lightyears away from the receiver, it was so hard to hear him, and he seemed confused/half-incoherent most of time. It wasn't a matter of the phone or connection being bad, I don't think, as when I would tell him I can barely hear him, he would for a brief second return to this solar system to utter something audible before blasting off again.

Going to pick up the pizza at the seedy looking joint, the cashier, who was almost certainly the guy on the phone, was exactly the cosmonaut I expected, being either extremely sleep-deprived or else clearly blazed.

Good food, but they probably ought to get some...

The first two times we ordered here, my family and I loved it. The third time they messed up my order, requiring me to drive to and from the store twice, and my new pizza was undercooked to where the dough was gooey in the middle. The fourth time, I wanted to give them another shot, because the pizza was good the first two. I got to the store and my pizza was 10 to 15 minutes behind where they said it would be (which didn't really bother me). However, the pizza with toppings was made wrong. They added bacon, and my family doesn't eat meat. I told them the situation, and they made me a replacement. My wife discovered a piece of pepperoni tucked under the cheese as she was eating it. This was clearly intentional. I don't get it. I was relaxed about the wrong pizza. I didn't complain. I waited patiently. They used that opportunity to get a jab in by trying to hide pepperoni in my pizza. I'm furious. I'll be telling everyone I can about...

I've been going to porky's for years. Every time I stop in however, the service has gotten worse and worse and the prices are triple what their quality of food deserves. I ordered a "Buffalo chicken sub", a nearly TEN DOLLAR sub mind you... My footlong sub was made using a SINGULAR chicken strip cut in half with half a squirt of Buffalo sauce and a handful of lettuce and onions that look as if it had come straight out of the garbage. The employees also didn't seem to even care to be working, the guy who was running the cash register seemed drunk or high. Mumbling and slurring his words, working with a hood up and sunglasses on and his hands were visibly black with fryer grease or dirt or something nasty and scoffed when I just signed the receipt and didn't leave a tip for a pickup order... Needless to say this sandwich found its way into the trash and I wont be...
