Chocolate Bash — Restaurant in Escondido

We randomly stopped by Chocolate Bash with our two kids and another family just to check it out—and ended up staying for almost an hour! The kids had a blast and “built” their own ice creams, and we indulged in chocolate-glazed marshmallows and the world-renowned Dubai pistachio chocolate, which absolutely lives up to the hype.

The service took about 5-8 minutes, but the wait was totally worth it. Everything was freshly made and beautifully presented. They have an impressive menu with tons of options like crepes, waffles, mini pancakes, fruit-topped desserts, and customizable ice cream bowls.

Sylvia C out here saving the day!! Saving the birthday to be exact. For my husband’s birthday we always get cute cakes, but today, the day before his celebration, I found out they’ve closed down forever. I was scrambling trying to find an alternative and walked into Chocolate Bash minutes before they closed hoping they could help me with a catering box. I felt horrid asking for same night turn around so I asked for the next day. She must have been able to tell I was worried about timing, because she asked if I needed it the same night and said she could get it together in time, no problem. I was floored and so grateful! Above and beyond she also provided a birthday treat for the birthday boy. Thank you again Sylvia C!! We will for sure be back again soon, and likely have a new birthday...

How did I not know about this?? Come support this amazing dessert establishment but be ready to take a nap afterwards!!

Caesar is the manager here and so helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. We had so many questions since it was the first time. He had his favorites and we ended up getting the waffle, half belgium half cookie butter (highly rec), and cookie butter crumbs! Then crepe with Nutella, strawberry and ice cream toppings.

Anything with strawberry is GREAT! But the base were amazing as well.

There's enough seating and nicely cooled. It’s next to the movie theater, so you can miss it but it is not part of it! The sign is clearly there so look for it. 😬
