Do not go here they are crooks! Went here to get a problem with my wife's I Phone 7 fixed. We have insurance and should have taken advantage of it. I could have paid the $175 to get a brand new replacement I Phone 7. I own a small business my self so I know how big it is to have good customer service and Integrity. Nate the manager has always been cool helpful and actually comes to my business. So we decided to take a shot and give them the business. Originally my wife's phone started having an issue with speaker she couldn't hear incoming calls. They told us it was a common thing and they fix it all the time and it would be $150. So I figured we would give them the business and save $25 instead of replacing the phone through insurance. They told us it would take 3-5 days and they would call us for pick up. They told us they needed half down so we paid the $75. Well after I kid you not 11 days after no call or communication we called the store and they said that it's done but to come in because there is more complications. We go in the store and the guy said that THEY mishandled the phone and ended up breaking the home screen button which could not be fixed at all. So I asked for our money back since they broke our phone. Nate said the owner is not taking responsibility for the phone and will not refund our money back. Keep in mind the phone can not be fixed and now I have to do an insurance claim. So now I'm out the $75 because they did not fix the phone which we paid for instead I paid to have them completely destroy the phone. I will be taking legal action and calling the better business bureau. Do not go here. Also I have recommended numerous amounts of my employees, friends, and family here. They have fixed tons of phone screens for my recommendations. They will be losing out in all our business that's for sure........ I’m adding this section here because the owner responded. He never took responsibility for what his employees did, it was only after the fact that I left my truthful reviews and he had time to let it sink for a few days. At that point he had his manager Nate call me and ask to take the reviews from google and Yelp down and he will give my $75 back. I told Nate no. It’s on principle at this point. I waited 11 days for the. To ruin the phone and let me clarify it was still ruined. It was not functional at all. The speaker issue that it went in for the first place was still not working. You could not place an outgoing call or receive incoming calls. The phone was ruined. They treated me with no respect and brushed me off. They may have other good reviews and have done better business for other people but for the couple of weeks they were dealing with me they more than fell short they had no communication and did not know the first thing g about conducting business. Read moreSo here is the story I've rooted quite a few phones in my days and a friend of mine asked me to root his Galaxy S4 so I did however it didn't go so well I was having a lot of trouble getting the ROM to load on the phone which is basically a custom OS..... So I looked around and found this place so I gave them a call.. I was greeted by one of the technicians here who was extremely friendly and knew exactly what I was trying to do and said he would be happy to help me out for anywhere between $30-$50 which is very reasonable.. So I drop my phone off and I expressed to him that I really would like marshmallow on the phone.. he gave me a time frame of around 2 to 3 days because he had a lot of other jobs to do before mine which was fine and on the second day he called me back and told me that he was having trouble as well getting the ROMs to load but that he would continue working at it and that he had an idea to restore the phone back to factory with the factory ROM and go from there.. Three hours later I got a call from him saying the phone is basically ready and to come in and check it out... When I got there he was still working out some kinks in the first ROM he loaded and he expressed me he didn't want to give me back on the phone unless it was working 100%.. The first ROM turned out not to work so well but he had a backup ROM to try and asked me if I didn't mind waiting 10 minutes well he loaded the 2end ROM... After about 10 minutes I got some good news and that all was working 100% without any issues... The customer service I received at this place was top Notch and when I left I had a Galaxy S4 that felt like new because the new faster android operating system marshmallow and there was none of Samsung's factory apps installed like touch wiz to slow it down.. I got a few hours to play with the phone before giving it back to my buddy and everything worked perfectly.

Read moreI visited Fix My Phone SD and wasn't completely satisfied with my experience. I was referred by Fix My Computer, and I was quickly interested by the affordable prices. First service was for a software bootloop issue due to updating. Nate (the technician) informed me I was lucky the phone even turned on since it was imported from China, and now with an older OS, and outdated kernel build the phone was incomplete. I paid $45+tax, eta over 2 weeks. My second repair was a broken charging port $45+tax, and took over 3 weeks, and without a call, so I went in to checkup on the status. As I was present, a technician improperly installed charging port (Nate admitted due to over soldering, but my device did not require soldering) Okay, so it worked, but for how long? I had to return less then a month, because of the poor quality in parts. This was a backup phone, and very light use, but the charging port pin broke again. So, I take the phone back, but since time passed, and no receipt, I was only offered a discounted price of $30+tax for 10 mins of labor, and cheap parts that must be ordered and take over 3 weeks to receive.
I support local businesses, and I would like to suggest Fix My Phone SD improving their customer service, maybe with a warm welcoming representative at the front.
Update: Took my phone in today after Nate contacted me to resolve my phone issue. Especially, since I could have possibly received a defective charger port from the start... I was offered a lower discount price, and for the sake of good faith I agreed. I think it shows initiative to improve customer relations, and I will change my review when I get my phone back.
