The manager on Friday afternoon was one of the most two faced, moronic people I've ever met in my life. I asked for ketchup at the window, she immediately frowned and stormed off. As she annoyingly threw the ketchup in the bag she shouted in an cold, shrewd voice, "TELL THE CUSTOMERS TO ASK FOR KETCHUP AT THE MENU I DON'T WANNA WALK ALL THIS WAY!!!!!!" She then put on the most fake smile in the world, and handed me my food. I'm honestly amazed at the sheer stupidity and general unpleasantness of this manager.
JUST PUT SOME KETCHUP BY THE DRIVE THRU WINDOW. I've never been to a McDonalds that didn't have ketchup by the drive thru window. I've also never been to a McDonalds with this pathetic level of basic decency. So, you had to walk 10 feet. I sincerely apologize that you are so lackadaisical and lethargic that you can't walk 5 feet without the world ending. Maybe it's because you don't possess cognitive function that lasts more than a few seconds, or maybe you're you're just a lazy narcissist. Moving frequently will actually help you stay more fit, active, and could possibly be better than not moving at all. (Not sure as the science hasn't been proven. Who knows, maybe if you're a lazy beaver, moving around is futile).
I've been here pretty frequently as I work nearby and it's a cheap easy lunch. I've dealt with various issues here, but never poor customer service. I don't know if it's just that time of the month, if something else personal is going on, but the manager on Friday, May 31st in the afternoon was the worst manager I've seen at a public establishment in a very long time. I want to express that everyone else was generally pleasant, and reasonable to deal with. You work at McDonalds, don't get mad when someone asks for ketchup. Seems pretty...
Read moreI'd be a repeat customer for the food and service if it weren't for the atmosphere and Fox News. Read on for details.
When you go possibly matters - we typically have gone after 8PM on weekdays, so keep that in mind for this review.
There are two distinct sides to this McDonald's: the food and service being one, and the atmosphere being the other.
Atmosphere (Decor) - I'm hitting this first because this is my biggest problem with the establishment: the shift supervisor (or possibly someone higher) has chosen to play Fox News in this restaurant, every night as far as I can tell. Why show something so polarizing, regardless of "side?" Don't play Fox News, MSNBC or anything political. Pick something neutral that won't anger possibly half of your customer base. I've heard multiple customers comment to the staff that showing this channel turns them off. And you can feel it in the atmosphere. There are lounge chairs facing the television, a high barrier/eating bar, then booths and tables behind. Most people I've seen sit as far from the television as possible. It's a bit depressing in there.
Service - The staff working this shift has been friendly, responsive and has gotten my order correct, even with special requests. On one visit there was a different crew and the cashier gave me medium fries when I ordered larges, thus wasting my money, but so far I haven't encountered him again.
Food - The food at this location seems above the average McDonald's par. Fries are cooked and salted to our liking, chicken and burgers taste fresh, not like they've been sitting in the warmers for hours, and the shakes and McCafe drinks are prepared pretty well, though they can look a bit sloppy.
I'll likely try the place once more, but if the channel hasn't changed, I'll be...
Read moreI had a problem with my order and instead of helping me they denied my request and I was stuck with an item I didn't want. I wanted my 3 year-old's chicken sandwich to have vegetables which was a necessary part of her diet. And I believed I had paid for it.
Instead of taking the opportunity to delight a customer and make things right, they denied my complaint which was rather disappointing. I mean how much does a bit of lettuce cost them? Instead of just grabbing half a handful of lettuce, the manager spent several minutes walking through the app to prove me wrong and then continued to deny my request. I would have been happy]y to pay the difference. The app was not intuitive and mislead me to order the wrong item. They advertised the sandwich with lettuce and tomatoes and when you order, it turns out the advertised sandwich wasnt the primary choice. . It was the next item down. The picture next to the items were very small icon sized thumbnails I could barely tell it was different from the advertised sandwich. So yeah I ordered the wrong item but why wouldn't they put the item advertised as the first item in the list, while making the exclusions secondary? Anyway it is what it is, but I'm just surprised she spent as much time as she did to prove me wrong rather than just fix it for her customer. It literally would cost just pennies to make a customer happy. Very bad...
