After over two years of being a loyal customer (coming in multiple times per week), I am done with this store and will be telling everyone I know. My 6-yr-old daughter looks forward to a weekly "Boba date" with me, when she gets to play the claw machine and get a non caffeinated ice blended drink. Today the claw machine ate her $5 that she had saved over the past several weeks. The machine displayed an error message and I kindly asked an employee for help. She said the machines aren't theirs so they can't do anything to help. Her manager came out and said the same. My daughter stood beside me crying. I asked if they would please consider giving me a free drink card for next time I come in, which would likely be tomorrow. She said no. We called the number on the side of the machine and spoke to the company that operates it. They told us to have Sharetea reimburse us the $5 and the claw company would pay them back. The Sharetea employee refused. All the while, my daughter's tears were rolling down her cheeks and her sibs were growing louder. For the first time I raised my voice and said, " are you really going to lose a loyal customer over $5?? I come in here almost daily. This is extremely disappointing customer service." Once again, she refused to do anything. I told her that I will never return. And I will not unless Sharetea apologies to our family and reimburses is for the $5. What is wrong with the world? Does customer service, no, decency no longer exist???...

First strike it’s 87 degrees out and the AC isn’t on at a place charging $8+ a drink.
Second strike the place has the carnival games that steal your money. Next to the carnival game they have a sign that says they don’t own the games play at your own risk. The games are clearly rigged as multiple times people had the game pick up an item and it turned around and dropped once all the way up. No surprise that this place has rigged games when they don’t have the AC on thereby making employ’s work in the heat.
3rd strike they have a sign at the register that says no refunds. It’s clearly obvious if you have a sign like this your product is probably not very good. Turns out there not! The blended cold boba teas such as the Taro are very icy crunchy not smooth like what a boba tea is like at every other place.
4th strike one of our drinks came out wrong. However at this point we didn’t care and just left and threw it in the trash. Why? Because it was so hot we were dying and just wanted to get back in our car. Like seriously what’s the point in a world with a Starbucks on every corner. Read moreI absolutely love this place whenever I come to visit in Escondido this is my go to boba shop. The drinks never disappoint and neither do the employees until today. I was going in to get my usual drink which is the mango passionfruit but I normally always replace the passionfruit with peach instead since I can't have passion fruit because I suffer with epilepsy and passionfruit is one of my triggers. I asked the barista Macy if it was possible to make my order that way if not it was okay I can understand. But it was the fact that her response was " well whoever made it for you can't do that " and she glared at me and made me feel judged. I get everyone has good days and bad days however I don't think she should've been taking out on me.
