Pho N More — Restaurant in Escondido

This is my new favorite pho place in Escondido. The new owner is super nice, and kindly explained what makes their pho special. He cleans the bones first and slow cooks the broth for 72hours like a proper base should be. The soup is delicious, with a warm white pepper front that lends flavor without heat. I got the rare steak/well done flank/beef meatball pho. The portions were huge, the meat was fresh, and I barely even added any spicy flavors so that I could enjoy the soup taste better. I got the oolong tea which he informed me that is make fresh daily, it was bright and just a hint sweet. We LOVE pho! And we have been looking for the place to go in Escondido. We saw that this location had recently changed ownership and read the reviews and gave it a shot.

We took out our order, but the owner came out to greet us and shake our hand. It was awesome to look someone in the eye, shake hands and talk local business owner to loca business owner.

Taiwanese chicken wings were amazing. My mom is Taiwanese and she was super impressed. We also really loved everything we got. Chicken pho… oxtail, rare beef, brisket pho… bun and a rice dish.

Everything was so fresh and everything was so good. It’s hard to impress our family with Asian dining. And we were pleasantly surprised.

Best Vietnamese food we’ve had. This restaurant is under new ownership, it used to be Chieu Kitchen but is now Pho N More.

Our favorites are the popcorn chicken, galbi rice plate and beef pho. Their drinks are also so good! We’ve had the mango smoothie and their Ube coffee and Vietnamese coffee.
