Outstanding BBQ. It is definitely a smoked venue. It's in the name. So be sure to consider your taste preferences when it comes to BBQ. I found it to be the best BBQ I have ever had in memory. Great crust. Great pink line that was about a quarter inch thick on the Brisket. Thick slices. Great weight. I didn't even finish my side of beans which was generously portioned. Dessert was great. Coleslaw just melted with the brisket perfectly as it should. I didn't have a cold crunch with warm meat. Which is a personal peeve of mine.

To note other reviews. They are quite popular with great specials, so be sure to come early and check their Facebook page for stockouts and announcements.

I did have utensils and didn't eat with my hands. Just to throw it out there from another review.

Lastly, Phil and Penny have made exciting changes for the better and it's still getting better everyday so definitely don't worry about the peak covid and before reviews.

I Was in town for work and had a craving for some good ole pork bbq. Thank God for google!! The reviews were mostly good so I gave them a try. I ordered the pork bbq plate. It came with 2 sides (I chose beans and smoked mac and cheese) corn bread and a brownie for $17. The reviews spoke so highly of the sausage so I ordered the smoked sandwich for $9. It was topped with coleslaw and pickles. I also ordered sample cups of all of the bbq sauces. 50 cents each. Everything was pretty good. I'm from the east and we use a vinegar/hotsauce/red pepper based sauce on the pork vs a bbq sauce which was the base of all of the sauces. I do wish they would have had a vinegar based option. The smokiness was good. Mac and cheese was delicious, beans were decent cornbread was kinda sweet which I love. It may sound crazy but the star of the show was the brownie it had an amazing crust but was ooey gooey inside...overall good experience....expensive but...

Full review: Friend and I saw this place while we were out for a drive, and we COULD SMELL THE PLACE before coming up to it. So that was our great first impression of the place. When we actually stopped by and ordered some food, Phil was helpful with any questions we had. We ordered the "All In" and also got their BBQ and hot sauce,《spacing on the name sadly》all of which was good. The only thing that I was missing would have been corn bread. I will definitely order it the next time I'm out in Burlington. I did call him later to try and order more for the road but found out he sold out by 4:30! So definitely don't hesitate.
