For the vibe ALONE, 6 stars. Tiny little brewery (like 4 spots total at the bar, another 2 if you're lucky and of small stature), tucked away in Estes.
The owner was warm, friendly, welcoming, talkative, and blatantly in love with what he was doing. I bet he could have talked beer and Estes and his brewery for hours upon days upon weeks. Upon months? Probably.
Friendly dog greeted us with a bark and a wag and then hung out randomly seeking a petting hand. Love brewery dogs, good one here.
Beer was pretty good. I liked me red ale quite a bit, and I wanted to try more, but they were lacking lighter beers at the time we visited, and I had some driving to do, so I guess it sort of worked out. They had a sour "coming soon", missed it...dang.
Charming as hell, good staff, good beer, and great vibe. Obviously a TON of loving and caring work had gone into the place, and it showed from start to finish and everywhere in between.
Will be back...
Read moreStopped by and found an empty parking lot on a Saturday afternoon. Finding that odd we went in worried that there might be a reason no one was here having a beer. Turns out look can be deceiving! Smaller then the other breweries in Estes Park but nice design. A converted gas station. The bar has but only 3 stools. But the is additional indoor heated seating for many more. Then there is a couple more tables and areas outside. The had a nice variety of beers on tap and had some bombers for sale. We enjoyed the beers we had taking a couple bottles to go. The thing that set them really to 5 stars was the server. A New York transplant who was a great conversationalist. She was a true pleaser especially after going to Estes Park Brewery and finding the staff cold and unfriendly. We are planning on coming back in June for the town’s jazz festival and we plan on being here...
