Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Eufaula

I have always liked Dairy Queen since I was little but I am deeply upset and ashamed by the behavior my family and I received at this establishment. We went to Dairy Queen with my Latin relatives to get some ice cream. My grandmother was speaking to the woman at the drive thru and was ordering. First off, they had no chocolate ice cream which is absolutely ridiculous! Secondly, my grandmother was trying to order and the lady on the other end was very rude and disrespectful. Mind you, my grandmother has a heavy Colombian accent. But, rather than be patient with her, she kept saying “no comprende, no comprende, you need to come inside to order.” My siblings and I were appalled by the audacity of this woman to say something so racist and ignorant as that! When I told my father about this, he went to call the establishment and the same lady picked up. She lied about the incident ever happening and even encouraged a confrontation with my fath at the establishment, who only wanted her name so that he could give a proper complaint. He is a disabled veteran so it is quite unfortunate that the Dairy Queen corporation allows such degenerate behavior from its employees. Unless this woman is disciplined properly or fired, my family and I will NEVER go to this Dairy Queen...

Normally the food is good here. The person at the window does their job perfunctorily. Not overly friendly but they're okay. Today, we had to pull to the gate and wait for hot, fresh French fries. It wasn't a long wait, but the tall, unhappy man who brought the food out to the car didn't speak at all, even after I thanked him for bringing the food. He was so put out that he had to work. It's not an attitude that makes you want to come back. The fries were in the bottom of the bag since the fry box was on its side, and they were not good. Some were old, and some weren't seasoned. Some just tasted odd. The bacon on my burger was tough, the meat was chewy. In summation, I got a bag of bad, overpriced food with a side of attitude. It's a really disappointing way to...

1 star is not even fair... I would give it a zero. We called before even heading to the restaurant to make sure their dine in service was open and the lady that answered said, “yes, until 9pm”. So, we decided to head on in because it was almost 8pm. When we arrived (8:10pm), the doors were locked and one employee that saw us at the door hid behind a column inside. When they realized we were not going anywhere, they decided to unlock the doors. All the employees were shaking their heads in disgust that they had to wait on us. When we were standing at the counter, their service attitude was, “I’m going to spit in your food for coming in”. My husband called them out and the “cook” started yelling at him. So, we decided to leave and we will NEVER return to this Dairy...
