Burrito Boy — Restaurant in Eugene

Absolutely terrible Customer Service. I ordered over the phone, and the phone rep seemed very distracted. I ordered a Chile Relleno Wet Burrito, & a Chicken Burrito with no cilantro. I got all the way home, and the Chile Relleno wasn’t a Wet Burrito, & the Chicken Burrito had cilantro, when I asked for no cilantro. I called to let them know, and they were extremely rude to me. They had terrible phone etiquette, and were all over the place talking to the cook in the background. They get back on the phone to tell me I’m wrong, and the Cook says he made it correctly. I told them the Cook is a liar, and they continued to argue. They told me I can’t have a refund or credit unless I bring it in. Rudely argued with me. I didn’t get to eat dinner, and had to drive all the way back to demand a refund. When we got back to demand a refund, they argued that the guacamole I had added at home, to moisten the dry burrito I was given, proves that the Chile Relleno is wet, no it is not- I added that at home because you screwed up! Worst service I’ve had in ages!...

Bad burrito, terrible service. I ordered a sausage breakfast burrito, and after 10 mins or so, I received a hastily thrown together burrito. The cheese was still cold (not melted in the slightest), the sausage links used weren’t even chopped up in the burrito- whole links were on one end, no sauces at all, mushy potato slices (thawed hash brown mix maybe?) a cold folded tortilla, and some eggs. I would have taken it back, but the teenage girl at the counter had already thrown me additude when I inquired after 10 mins if my order was almost ready (there was only 1 other person inside waiting for their order, didn’t seem like they were slammed with orders ahead of me). I learned my lesson about this restaurant, don’t bother, I’m gonna drive the extra mile downtown and get a worthy breakfast burrito...

I love Burrito Boy, but the River Road store can’t get an order right. Ordered a meal to go in March (before COVID19) and my wife told them who she was and we had an order to go. After 45 minutes she asked again and we ate our dinner cold that night. Three times since then we have ordered a tostada with chicken, and were charged for it but got no chicken. Twice I’ve ordered Boy burritos with no rice but it was filled with rice. Tonight I ordered a carne asada Boy burrito with no rice. I’m eating a chicken burrito with rice and a bonus piece of plastic wrap. I give up. Burrito Amigos has good food too, and that is where I’ll be getting my Mexican food to go. Bye bye Burrito Boy.
