Rough times at Happy Hours. I really like the concept they have with three businesses all synergizing to provide a whole set of experiences. The concept, only. The execution is suffering (I assume since COVID). The pizza oven must have went out for cigarettes and never came back; the tattered signs on the doors hinted me of it's long ago departure. The menu promises fresh baked breads for it's sandwiches; I got a Wal-Mart hoagie that dents when you touch it. Everything is uncomfortably expensive. The sweet and spicy burger looked delicious, though. I should have ordered that. It had a Wal-Mart burger bun too, though (on a fresh baked promise).
I guess I gave a second star because the gal that always works there was kind enough to discount my philly-centipede-cheese-steak. If you value your money or the good ol' feeling of taking your gal to the dive bar down the road for a non healthy dinner, dive somewhere else. Good luck, happy hours and countryside. We for sure will never get...
ย ย ย Read moreI have been coming to Happy Hours for at least 8 years now. Love the atmosphere of home when i walk in the door. I try to go to Crystal Bradley's Karaoke show every Sunday. She and her sister Theresa Fisher are the best KJ's there are! They make everyone feel like a Rock star. The beautiful bartender Kristina Hodson is truly the kindest and most awesome person/bartender I've had the pleasure of having taken care of me. She always goes over and beyond the call of duty to make sure that i and my friends are spoiled. Sundays are the best! It's low-key but always so much fun. It's more like hanging out with family. The prices are very decent and the food is good! I recommend Happy Hours to any one who wants to get out of the house and come enjoy good times, good drinks, awesome music and great food with some of the best people...
ย ย ย Read moreThe blonde bartender that was working during karaoke on March 14 was very dismissive to my requests not yo put ice in my club soda. Even after I told her that my teeth are sensitive she just put a straw in the drink and told me to just use the straw. Temperature sensitivity has NOTHING to do with a straw and everything to do with the temperature of the drink.
She didnโt seem to be happy to be there at all. Even before the ice situation she was cold and emotionless. When you work in customer service you fake it โtil you make it. You could be having the worst day of your life but you never indicate it to your customers. I know this to be true because I work directly with customers myself.
This place is amazing. This one encounter with the rude bartender...
