Read moreEven though they don't take reservations, they did accomodate our group of 10 without hesitation.
This is a handy, but slightly hidden gem. They are located off Goodpasture Island Road & Delta Hwy.
Our food was exceptional, hot, fresh, popping with taste & I experienced no sneezing whatsoever! That means no funny business in the kitchen by way of additives, chemicals or flavor enhancers! A million gold stars for that alone.
I ordered Pollo a la crema & their Crema sauce is the best I have had since first trying Crema sauce back in Baltimore.
Rice for me at a lot of Mexican themed restaurants is not tasty & bland. The rice here is quite delicious & not dried out at all.
The refried beans were creamy & tasted wonderfully homemade.
My Chicken (Pollo) was tender, no gristle or weird pieces, it tasted quite fresh & was melt in my mouth good, drenched in their Crema Sauce. I wanted to lick my plate! It also came with your choice of corn or flour tortillas & I chose flour.
There were 3 tortillas, so I ate only one & I made 2 wraps full of leftovers to take home for the next day.
I am amazed I haven't eaten here before, since it's close to home.
I am taking my adult kids here soon, so they too can experience the vast menu & have the same great...
Read moreWe came in on Friday evening, we got seated quickly, waiter took order quickly and then service went downhill from there. We waited and waited and waited. The people next to us when we got there were finishing eating and the left, another family shows up next to us gets their drinks and food and seconds before we got our food. We asked the front desk girl where our food was she said she would check and never checked. The waiter walks by and in passing says it will be ready soon and keeps walking. Another 15 mins and another round of drinks for the people next to us and we still don't have our food. This is 1hr and 15mins since we were seated. Food finally comes out my husband asks what happened and the waiter ignores him and talks over him instead of addressing the situation and places two hot plates directly in front of the baby. The plates were super hot but the food was Luke warm at best. We did not get offered refills and had to ask for the check twice. My dad was visiting from Alabama and said we would have had better food at Taco Bell. I don't ever write reviews but sadly this is not the first time we have left here unhappy. (We gave it 3 separate tries and all of them were a good wait on food and food served...
