I placed an order through Drive-Thru, and when I arrived home and tried the food it was very obvious the meat used for the burgers was old and dry. The burgers tasted bad enough that my wife actually spit it out after the first bite. I chalked it up to an oversight (I understand it was mid-afternoon on a Saturday), and decided to head back to the store to request a fresh re-make of the burgers. When I spoke with the MOD and politely explained and requested a replacement, her response was unwelcoming and frankly quite rude. She instantly tried to hand the food back to me, stating "We only serve fresh food, so that's very mysterious". I politely re-stated that the meat was in fact old, and I would happily wait patiently for them to be re-made. The manager re-stated again "Well, we only serve fresh food here. I can have them made again but they will only be the same." I thanked her and waited for the food to be replaced, and when I arrived back home, the food was far better and much closer to what we expect to receive from McDonalds. As a retail manager for several years, I was honestly appalled that I was made to feel as though I was doing something wrong by requesting fresh food. To err is human; I wasn't all that upset about the initial quality of the food, though it was disappointing. However, the escalating nature of the manager's response was very upsetting, enough so that I will not be visiting that particular establishment again. I will happily drive further for a better experience at a different McDonalds (because let's get real, we aren't going to stop going to McDonalds any time soon!). I'm hopeful the leadership team at this location receives some much needed training in customer relations. We are all working hard to stretch our dollars, and it's just plain out offensive when I spend my last few dollars to feed my family just to given crap food and then get a hard time when I try to get...
Read moreI was in town visiting from Las Vegas and I previously came here twice to get breakfast . I was staying in a hotel less than a mile away . My last day , February 24 , I had to checkout before 11am and was meeting my son here around 1pm so we could go downtown together . I went inside to use the restroom and the dining area is of course marked off for Covid restrictions which I am used to in Las Vegas and the whole week I was there in Oregon .
I went to the counter and asked is the bathrooms unlocked or could they let me in . The cashier told me I would have to ask the Manager . So , I waited by the counter while 3 or 4 other employees ignored me . I finally stopped another one and she told me the key was missing . I worked at McDonald's in high school , so I know that employees use the same restroom as the customers , so how do the employees go to the bathroom ? I said look I am a customer and I will buy something , I bought breakfast here twice this week . I'm not one of those homeless people in the parking lot begging for something . I just really need to go to the restroom . She just walked away . That really upset me. I ended up going to a gas station down the street .
I know the parking lot is full of homeless people as is much of the town , but I am a 53 year old well dressed man and you could see I'm not homeless ! Even though I was going to eat downtown with my son , I was willing to buy a pastry or something to use the bathroom and they still walk away from me without saying a word . Luckily I was respectful and didn't say what I really wanted to say , but that's okay , I wrote Corporate . Have...
Read moreâȘMostly go there for free large ice waters and $1 any size drinks. âȘ My adult kids buy meals though, almost 2-3 x a week. The Food taste okay but I miss the inexpensive prices for fast food. I frankly do not like paying $10+ for burger and fries in a fast-food restaurant...don't care if it is GOURMET'ish fancy or not.
I mean I rather go but a large 3 topping $7.99 pizza at Domino's and make myself a salad at home
Or pay a bit more for a meal in a buffet or sevice waiter restaurant like Izzy's or Hometown buffet even with free online coupons
SERVICE?âȘIffy and"Touch & go" Service and customer service skills at times. Depends on who's there, though. Waits can be long at peak times, so if you are in a hurry or impatient type ..Do Not go in on b those times.
BIGGEST COMPLAINT: Though they are open 24hours...you can't order Everything in menu. They either don't have it, can't cook it after 8,9pm !!!??!! With all the tech screens and such it would be nice to change menu to only picture what is available or at least put up a sign saying what isn't allowed to be available. I spend so much time asking for said item(s) ...only to be told "We are out of such and such, Shipments did not come in, or...Sorry machine is broken.
So much so that I start out by asking "What are you out of or can't make at this time?" Before ordering after work at 11pm. Works alot faster for me. But then I wonder...should I even have to do that?
FACILITYâȘRemodeled. Place seems nice inside and reasonably clean. âȘWide range payment options PARKING: Sufficient and...
