I grew up loving Papa's pizza. Their taco pizza is the best pizza there! However, this time we placed an order online and it was a mess. We order a taco pizza on a gluten free crust with half having no cheese and the other half having no tomatoes. It was clearly labeled on our receipt and didn't seem to be an issue. Online said it would take about 20 minutes. We show up 30 minutes after ordering and the girl had no idea what we were talking about. Another girl had to stop helping the people she was with to try to explain to the girl helping us. The girl still didn't understand and it was obvious that they couldn't find our pizza though they found our prepaid order. We waited another 15-20 minutes and they called my name it take it home. We decided to check to make sure it was correct and sure enough it wasn't. There was cheese and tomatoes covering the entire pizza. We spent $24.50 on a medium pizza so we expected it to at least be made right. When we brought it up to the manager he made a lame excuse and blamed it on the website for not putting in the correct order. My receipt had it right but the employees didn't even care to look. The manager was very rude and denied the pizza being done wrong. We showed him the tower of cheese and tomatoes and he was reluctant but offered to scrape the cheese off if we didn't want the cheese. We were very unhappy and he didn't even try to apologize. We left disappointed and would have just liked a refund so we could get dinner somewhere else but that didn't happen. The pizza itself was ok but their was cheese all over it. They do not care about allergies or what matters to the customers. We had such a bad experience I will probably never return there. Like I said, this was a must stop whenever in Eugene until this poor experience mostly with the manager's attitude and lack of common sense. I really hope he was just having a bad night so others don't have to experience...

If I can give 0 stars I would! My girlfriend an I ordered a medium gluten free taco pizza online, specifing no cheese on one half and no tomatoes on the other and confirmed that it would be done in 20 min ... Cool, except NOT, when we got there, they had no clue of how to pull up a online order... Once they did they finally started making it... Mind you we got there 25 min after ordering and then waited an additional 25 mins for it to be done. Once completed I opened the box to make sure it was done properly, and no surprise it was not. Cheese and tomatoes were all over the pizza. I approached the manager to correct this error advising him of how we asked for the order to be made and opened the box to show what I talking about. That then prompted him to stupidly deny that there is cheese all over the pizza and blame me in that our order didn't come in clear enough in their system, saying there is no cheese on the bottom half of the pizza (which there was) and this is what ticked me off he offered to "just scrape the lettuce and chedder cheese on top off"...No appology, no accountability and truly HORRIBLE service. Not recommended, Not a clean place, Not good food for the price. Way better pizza elsewhere, don't bother with this place. And I'm not just saying that out of...

DEAD FLY'S AND LARVA FOUND ON PIZZA 🤢

I just picked up a $40 pizza for lunch on my way to work. I ate 3 slices before I noticed 2 dead flies and larva on my pizza. I called them to see if we could make this right, as I am stuck at work for 10 more hours with no food now. The lady on the phone was super nice and willing to deliver a new pizza to my work. She then put me on hold until the manager answered. He was very rude and started calling me a liar. I told him I have it right in front of me, a dead fly maggot larva covered pizza. I asked if there was a way we can make this right, whether its refund me my money or deliver me a non larva covered pizza - to which he told me no. He swears up and down they didnt put flies or larva in there, which is besides the point. I respectfully asked for a refund or new pizza since I now have NO LUNCH and instead got called a liar and was told theres nothing they can do about it.

Congratulations papas pizza, youve lost a lifelong customer thats been going there since I was a small child. Absolutely terrible...

Ordered a delivery. Cooked well. Asked to be called so I could go out side to meet and not have the door bell rang as it would create havoc with the dogs. No call, door bell used. I got the wrong pizza delivered. Called and had to wait awhile for delivery to come back to deliver the correct one. I spoke with the manager he had the driver come back. The pizza was not cooked well. It should had, had a crispy crust. The pizza and service has gotten so bad on W. 11th. The manager did not offer a discount or any kind of correction due to knowing it was late and apparently it was not checked to ensure the cooking was done as requested. $40 is not a drop in the bucket. We work hard and to spend that much was a special expense. Maybe managers need to be looked at for what they are doing.

Papa's Pizza is always one of my favorite places to eat when I am in Eugene. I have been going there since I was a kid playing EBAA Baseball. Papa's was a sponsor of my team in the 1970's and we always had pizza after every game. For me, it's more than the wonderful pizza...it's also childhood memories. I could vividly recall sitting around the tables with my team mates and coaches, eating pizza and rootbeer. The family atmosphere hasn't changed in over 40 year. They are still family owned and haven't sold out to large corporate entities. It's well worth a stop and the staff are friendly and engaging.
