Shooter's Pub & Grill — Restaurant in Eugene

I have come here an average of once or twice a year and mostly it happens to be in an area I don’t work or live in. But most recently I started coming here after my little brother got very sick and went into hospice within days. The people here have accepted and shown so much love and personal compassion as better than cheers ! The food and atmosphere are very welcoming and the view out any window is high enough about the standard restaurants that at night it gives a great view along with the servers I’ve come to know have made the hospitality of this place tops above my experiences in so many cities of traveling. Even the wonderful owner and her daughter have such generous kindness I’ve recall having before. My little brother passed two days ago and I’ve become addicted to the home feeling I get from here. I have five servers that I love and a favorite but...

Was very disappointed in the service :( ! We walked in and place looked clean but the waiter was not friendly at all ! He was very pushy and never smiled ! He asked if we were ready to order 2 times with in the first 5 min of being there ! When I told him I just wanted water he rolled his eyes at me ! When we finally decided what we wanted which was not much longer after he asked the 2nd time we watched him walk past us 5 different times and he wouldn't acknowledge us I felt invisible! I could understand if he was busy but it was pretty slow at this point ! Anyways I sat there waiting for him to come back for 10 min and then watched him proceed to stand at the bar and chat with the bartender so after watching him do that for another 5 min I left ! I never felt so unwelcomed in my life ! Looked like great good but unfortunately will never be coming...

I was visiting my family in Eugene (I live in California) and I decided to check this place out on a Thursday night. As soon as I walked in, I recieved a warm welcome from Amy and Jennifer. After a couple hours, I fell in love with this place. The next day was my dads birthday, so I brought him here for lunch. The food was delicious, and we were treated like family by the owner and all the cool locals who were there. I returned to this place almost every night during the remainder of my week-long visit. Anyone who has anything bad to say about this place has no idea what they're talking about. Good food, good people, and good vibes. I'd give this place 10 stars if I could. Thank you so much for making my visit to Eugene enjoyable...
