I understand it was opening day. I was fine with waiting a few hours for my order. The crepes were good. There were probably 100 people in front of me, so the 2 hour wait was understandable to get to ordering. I would recommend not giving estimates on how long people will wait for their order. I was told 30-45 minutes till my order was ready, makes sense lot of people. However it took a little over an hour and a half. Giving me an expectation made the wait more frustrating. When my order was ready, and I was getting it from the counter, one of the employees working the floor, I believe her name was Alice: a shorter Filipino appearing worker, had taken one of the crepes from my order and gave it away. The employee working the register seemed baffled as well after we reviewed my order and noticed the one I was missing was the one Alice had taken. This experience left a sour taste in my mouth. They also had a photographer who made the atmosphere uncomfortable, especially when you are ordering and you hear the shutter on their camera going off several times while you are trying to speak over the music and crowd to...
Read moreWe came here for dessert around 7:30p on a Tuesday evening. There was one (in person) order ahead of us but they seemed to be pretty busy with online orders. We got 2 sweet crepes and a Boba tea, which took about an hour. There didn't seem to be any "hustle" behind the counter, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, just unexpected. It was a beautiful summer evening to sit on the patio and relax, so we didnt mind, but it was a rather long time, and I can see how the wait would be frustrating if you had somewhere else to be. My wife and I are gluten-free, so it was amazing to go to a place and have so many options! The window decorations were very cute and creative! My only negative (because of my own sensory issues) is that I probably wouldn't go back in person during the cold months when outdoor seating is not an option. The shop had a strange "mixed" smell (obviously because they make both sweet and savory crepes) of the sweet crepes and a shrimp-y smell that made it difficult to wait/eat in the restaurant. But with time to spare and lovely outdoor seating, it was a very...
Read moreWe had an amazing experience at T-Swirl Crepes in Eugene! We tried the T-Swirl BLT, the Shrimp Tempura, the Lychee Romantic, and the Mango Deluxe â and every single one was fantastic.
The two savory crepes were especially memorable. The Shrimp Tempura crepe had a generous amount of shrimp and totally satisfied that "let's get sushi" craving. The T-Swirl BLT was my personal favorite â the smoky chipotle aioli paired perfectly with the fresh avocado, making it absolutely delicious.
The sweet crepes were just as impressive. Both the Lychee Romantic and Mango Deluxe featured bright, tart pops of fruit that balanced the sweetness beautifully. The Mango Deluxe even came with a scoop of vanilla gelato that was so good it deserves its own shoutout!
Their crepes are gluten-free, with a perfect texture that's soft but has a little crispness to it. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. I would highly recommend T-Swirl Crepes to anyone looking for a great...
