Captain D's — Restaurant in Euless

I came in during lunch rush hour and it was a bit busy. The dining is very limited but they make up for the service and the quality of the food was really good. I know they just opened and this is like their 4th day but I hope they can keep it consistent with the food. I ordered the fish and shrimp combo( see pic). It was really good. I especially have to give a shout-out to Ellie, or Elly, the lady who helped me pick my food. I contemplated between the catfish combo or the fish & shrimp combo. I already tried the catfish before so she recommended the fish and shrimp combo. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint.. the fish was great. It had a good taste and crunch to perfection. Green beens and hush puppies were also good. And the corn on the cob was tasty and a little sweet just enough to make it delightful... Ellie or Elly was great with the service. She even remember to give me back my change when they ran out of bills. She even brought it out to me while I was eating, I didn't have to go back to the counter and ask for it. Ellie or Elly should be promoted to Manager if not already or in some type of leadership role. She is great with the service and her energy is very friendly and respectful... I ate almost all my food. I was too full ( see pic). I hardly ever say this but I recommend this place because of Ellie or Elly and the quality of food!!!!!! Thank you Ellie...

Since the restaurant opened up, this is my 4-5 times going up there. I had put in a order about 2-3 weeks ago, when I picked up the food the employee ensure everything that I had ordered was in the bags, when I got home there was item missing so I called the restaurant and the manager told me next time I visit I can get my missing item which I paid for. So today I put in a new order and went to pick up my food, so I bought up that scenario which has happened 2-3 weeks ago and they told me to show them receipt. I looked and looked all over and was unable to find the receipt due to fact that I last ordered was several weeks ago. So the employee that I was talking to told me they can’t replace the missing item. Idk what by they didn’t tell me to keep my receipt when they messed up my order 2-3 weeks ago so I could have kept it. I don’t think I will be going to this location again. We were so excited it was opened so I can take my family there to eat, but their lack of professionalism and messing up my order, I don’t think I will be going to...

Captain D’s grand opening was actually today July 1, 2024. I couldn’t believe it , but I was soooo happy. 😊 I’ve been driving by every so often, to see if they open up yet. Every-time they was closed still . This time I got to see my eyes 👀 glow. My husband asked me where did I want to go eat. I was like idk really . Let’s see if the Captain D’s open yet! I actually drove there, and seen the flags and the sign saying open. I was so happy 😁. We ordered the spicy fish and shrimp and it was delicious. I had mac and cheese with fries very good. My husband had his two sides okra , Mac and cheese very delicious 😋. Everyone was nice and friendly. We were greeted outside the door . The nice gentleman held the door open for us. The GM gave us a nice welcome, and the rest of the crew as well. Nice and clean atmosphere. With fresh delicious 😋 food. Looking forward to coming back again soon! Y’all rock ! Keep up the good work.
