Golden Chick — Restaurant in Euless

The drink mix was warm, flat, and tasted nothing like what it was supposed too. I ordered dine in and it took 10 minutes, turns out the guy working the counter accidentally put us down for takeout because the drive thru worker brought us our food in boxes tied up in a plastic bag. The tenders were small, I’ve eaten at Golden Chicks all over North Texas and I’ve never seen them that tiny, it’s like they gave me chicken nuggets instead of tenders. I got my meal with dirty rice and it was cold like it came out of the fridge. I brought it to the counter and they offered to replace it with fries, which ended up being just as cold. The drinks came out of the fountain warmer than the sides, and I’m not even exaggerating. There were no spoons or forks or ketchup in any of the holders where they were supposed to be. I know it’s in a gas station, but come on, fast food has been around long enough to know how to make things right. Get home and discovered I was missing the 6 extra rolls I ordered for 3.89, the whole reason I eat at GC is for their delicious rolls, so I drive back up there and inform them I was missing my 6 extra rolls and the young woman working the window wanted to argue with me , saying she put those rolls into my bag, well I told her that when I got home I emptied out everything and was short my 6 rolls, and all I get from her is her shaking her head no, so I say “ you really think I would drive back up here 20 minutes later just to get some free rolls? “ then the manager (maybe) pokes his head out and is like , oh your missing 6 rolls, here you go and I got my 6 rolls, but not before miss attitude had to give me a snarky look, so then I get home and discovered I was missing the cream gravy as well, oh well , not as passionate about their gravy so I let that go, and the fried okra I had ordered was way way over-cooked, so yeah a pretty crappy experience at this GC and won’t ever be back...

Welp i didn’t really want to leave a review but it’s hard not too when you basically get ignored. I had placed a mobile order. For a 12 piece tenders half spicy & half regular, 1st i was short food. & second i had hair in my food. I tried to call that night but got no answer. I called in the morning where i spoke to a manager and they wanted me to bring back the food… well there was hair in it so i tossed it that night. I didn’t want my money back I simply asked if i could have an order remade and they “couldnt” because i don’t have the food. I had the receipt but they would not help me out. It sucks i never had a a food business ever just deny me help even if it was a little. Sad
