I was looking for a Chinese place that was kid friendly meaning would have some foods that my 2year old would eat. I called this place and asked the guy the price he tells me 12.49 for an adult and free for a kids. I said ok and do you have pizza, sweet and sour chicken or French fries. The guy said we have all that plus crab. So I went and the food was terrible. We went around lunch time and the food was cold. The waitress brought out the wrong drinks twice. I asked for a Pepsi and my daughter a lemonade and water. I got a diet Pepsi and my daughter had sweet tea. Then she brought out water for my daughter and unsweet tea for me. The third time she finally brought me a Pepsi. There wasn't much for my daughter to eat but the rice was decent and they had oranges so she ate that and the snacks in her backpack. I wasn't upset cause I was told it was free for her and I was just going to get her something to eat later. I had rice, sweet and sour chicken, some jalapeño chicken and ribs. I asked when they were going to put more food out cause it was very cold and dry and was told when the food was done they cook more. I waited and waited and finally decided to eat watermelon and shrimp. The shrimp wasn't cleaned and the watermelon was hot and mushy. At the point I wanted to go, I was going to pay the 13 and change and find something else to eat. I get to the register the bill was 30+. I told the guy I called and you told me it was 12.49 and my kid would be free. He says he didn't talk to anyone today. I don't like to be called a liar so when the manager came I said so this ain't your number in my phone because even he said no one called today. Then they changed their story and said he got confused and told me the wrong day. I couldn't eat anything there cause of the temperature and cleanliness of their food and you think I was gonna pay 30 dollars for trash. I had to pay for myself they did give my daughter for free but I would never eat there again and don't recommend this...
Read moreOne star, I did not want to give a star at all. No stars for this place. We usually go to this buffet and we bring family to this buffet. A year ago, we came with family, we had a waitress name Wendy. We brung family out of town and Wendy was not on top of her service. She didn't take care of our plates, or if we needed any more drinks. We didn't say nothing about it, but she gave us a hard time when it was time to pay. My siblings and I, had to pay it together in different credit cards. Left it alone, we went home. We came back to Yichibsn, brung more of our family had different waitress, it was fine. Today, Father's Day, we got Wendy again. From the time we got to her table, she was there and she was arguing about water that she didn't want to give us. The same service she gave a year ago, she done the same thing. We had to request for her to get us more drinks, she didn't take our plates when we were finished. She was talking in her language, knowing we know she's talking about us. Her tone sounded angry, and you felt her bitterness towards us. Us, Samoans, polynesian people. We didn't feel like eating anymore because the environment started to feel like we weren't welcomed. When asked to accommodate us, if not , then what are you going to do about the server/waitress that was so rude and didn't want to service us. They thought we didn't want to pay. It's not about the money, it's about the service. When asked to speak to an owner, they was giving us run arounds. But, Wendy acted like she Owns the place. I had my camera out and she touched me, and almost touched my phone, like she was going to throw it down! Yichiban staff and service is terrible. My husband didn't like their meat. My husband is a chef, he knows food! They are Rude, Raciest, Service is -0 and along with 0 Professionalism. Don't complain about anything because it's always going to...
Read moreWell let me start off by saying I Have been to this restaurant at least 15 times. And every single time I have had this experience. I come in and they sit us down and get us drinks which is typical and respectful, and as soon as we get our drinks and sit down and eat our food, that’s when the trouble begins. There is nothing wrong with the food, I think it’s very well made and I give props to the cooks. But the servers would constantly hound me and my friends about payment as soon as we sit down to eat. I’ve told them several times that we would like to share a check between certain people and they give us all separate checks and I know exactly why (I’ll get to that later). When we finally pay, we used to tip because it wasn’t as bad as it is now and it was bearable. But now we started asking for our change back and they’ve refused to give it to use on many occasions. We’ve asked for receipts and they’ve refused to give them to us on many occasions. They ask for tips constantly even though I’m pretty sure by now they know that that we’re here to enjoy our meals and relax and not to constant get berated by staff. They give us separate checks so when we pay, they can take our change and collect them all as “tips” even though we’ve asked for collective checks and for our change. They are very rude and persistent about the money system. If I or my friends get up to get food or to use the restroom, they’ll follow us and watch us but not too closely, I don’t know why for sure this is but I do believe it’s because they expect us to dine and dash which I and my friends find discriminatory. The only thing good about this place is the food. The servers are horrible and should honestly...
