This location deserves 0 stars. I can honestly say I have never had a good experience with the staff. They are not only unfriendly, but flat out rude. There have been 2 seperate occasions where a cashier has raised their voice at me. There is a specific woman always on the register that will never speak to you or look at you, but the whole time she is ringing up your items, she is turned around talking and laughing to other cashiers. The few times i have asked her a question, i get short responses and dirty looks, as if I am an inconvience. Also, I have gone in the return line before, to return something, and the lady at the return register was organizing papers, so I waited a few minutes. She looked at me a few times but never said a word, then walked away, and ignored me when I tried to get her attention. So I waited to see if one of the other cashiers would take me, more than a few minutes went by, and I spoke up. Only to be told (with attitude) I need to get in the purchase line. While waiting in that line, a guy got into the return line, I explained to him what happened and wished him luck. Then just a minute later, the cashier called for that guys return! So I spoke up and said no I don't think so I have been waiting to make a return for about 10 minutes. After that, the cashier was extremely rude, and actually cussing and raising her voice. I don't know where they find these people, but don't work in customer service if you can't treat people with respect and be helpful. Corporate needs to get involved with this store, because I have never had any of the staff be friendly or even decent. There has also been 2 occasions where a male customer has followed my girlfriend around the store, taking pictures of her on his phone. The same man both times! I reported this to the "loss prevention" worker the first time but it was not really resolved. Nothing good comes from this store, do not go to this store, you will not be treated well. This...
Read moreFirst, I bought a dress that sewn together wrong. It is something that should not have been on the shelf for sale since it obviously was a reject from a regular department store. I went to return it. I used my debit card for the original purchase so it was the same as cash and it had been about 10 days since the purchase. I did not have the original debit card for the purchase but did have the receipt. The employees insisted that I could only receive a store credit and not cash since it is 'store policy". This is completely ridiculous considering it's a DEBIT card. They were paid immediately or soon after but I on the other had had to take a store credit when I had a receipt?? Let's not even mention that there were 6 people in line, one girl checking out and the other girl that told everyone her register was "closed" but had all the time in the world to speak to her friend standing at the counter. In order to speed my exit, I took a store credit. At this point, it was the principle of the matter so I returned to the store and the completely new manager credited my account (since I now had my debit card that I had to go home and get). The new manager would have been great except she had to add that "the only reason I did this is because you had my debit card"... oh THANK YOU, Miss I-totally-lack-all-aspects-of-customer-service-Misty... And by the way, all of this was about $21... that's it. I would steer clear of this store based on the fact that they are under-inventoried, have low end merchandise, and Marshall's is next door and they have MUCH better quality. I won't be back, ROSS STORES.... Get...
Read moreUnfortunately this was a bad experience for me at the Ross in Bedford, TX. Me & my sister were shopping after coming from the library about 8pm. That location is open later than other stores & Wednesday is not a very busy day for that location.
Anyway, I had an item to return & I did not have my receipt with me so...I got a store credit. Since I got a refund credit, I preferred to spend it while I was there. We shop there often...so we did not think that just browsing would be a problem. We are senior citizens and it takes us longer to browse. We had no idea that we were being singled out for taking our time looking for deals.
Anyway as older folks do we sat down for a minute on some furniture that we were admiring. The manager came by and said very sharply "hope you guys are buying something today" I looked at her and said "why is the store having difficulty?" She said no...but I just hope You are buying something. Then she walked away.
Talk about wishing.... I never stopped by on a slow day. It was an insult to me as if to say--- if we come in her store we must buy whatever stuff...Who care if you want it or need it. Really? She could have asked if we needed help or at least said "how are you guys" or thanks for being a regular customer. .
She really made me feel like crap by singling us out. In retaliation, I put a few things back and headed to the front to use my credit & get checked out. I mentioned to her that the Dallas Cowboys jacket I was wearing cost me $25 when I bought it there. I was mad & disgusted because I had always been nice to her and thought she had better customer...
